Hell, … I’d be pleased to pay for Joy’s first class transit all the way to her destination …. to her own personal wakonda …. as long as it is one-way

Hmmmmm. I wonder why it's not??? This is just a shot in the dark, but maybe the same reason those people still live in mud huts???

Why interfere?
Maybe the Stark Trek prime directive should be in order.
You’ll just get accused of being a colonizer if you do.

I explained (at least large parts of it) in the last 2 posts on that topic.
Bad soil and bad water = bad human development

He mentioned that in the 1930s China didn’t have the technology that was made available to Congo.
His best point was that they should have learned and taken the knowledge and infrastructure the Europeans left them and used that to improve. They just don’t do it. I’ve had employees that worked in fish farming for years and I swear every week I had to show them how to do things like they just forgot everything from the previous week
It’s infuriating

To add to what BoarEd said, the Congo’s topography is absolutely insane. The river plunges nearly 900 feet over roughly 200 miles, and some sections exceed 700 feet in depth. Its underwater terrain includes enormous submerged rock formations, steep canyon walls, and wildly irregular riverbeds. It’s essentially an abyssal-like canyon system with an extraordinary elevation gradient, making conventional canalization an engineering nightmare.
This is the best video I can find on the topic and it’s recent.
A whisky made with Congo Basin peat would be wild.

you obviously do not read Wilbur Smiths anthologies of Africa.

If we help you and your racist black folks learn to mine, Joy Reid, will you go back to Congo Wakanda and stay there?

Think about the difference between China and Congo now.
And they did it with communism at that

Do they have any hydroelectric turbines taking advantage of that massive river making that massive drop?
Posted on 10/26/26 at 9:22 pm to SlowFlowPro
What about if we started a gofundme for you to leave this country?

How would that work? Think about that

It’s actually based off of Lesotho… although that isn’t much of an improvement over the Congo.

Like this:
The Grand Inga Dam (French: Barrage du Grand Inga) is a series of seven proposed hydroelectric power stations at the site of the Inga Falls, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.[1] If built as planned, the 40–70 GW project[2][3] would be the largest power station in the world.[4][5]
Is your google hand broken? That literally took 15 seconds to find.

Sub 80 IQ is the norm. Very hard to get any semblance of a civilization going with no one that has a basic understanding of basic math.
Some have said that the United States can trace it's success back to the very people who came here in the beginning. Smart people, tough people, with a drive to succeed. They passed those qualities down to their offspring. Same thing happens in the inverse, and is easily seen today. Maybe, just maybe it the "out of Africa" theory is true, then maybe the best left a long time ago and what stayed behind gives us what we have now.

Many black people really do believe Wakanda is real, don't they.

This is a bit of a chicken and the egg question though. If you don't have good land for growing good, nutritious food, brain development suffers. Also, due to the tropical environment they have to deal with a lot more disease vectors than we do. Mosquitos and their various diseases that hit them hard also impact brain development in infants at a bad rate.
It's a tough situation with no easy fix.
