Even though he was a dem, he wasn’t a crazy progressive dem like most in the party are now. May not agreed on his politics but I actually liked the man.

Prayers for his family

Was a good good guy who seemed to care about our country. Couldn’t get nominated in today’s Dem party.

But, yeah, your point is well taken. I do remember him seeming like a really old dude then. It's sort of crazy.
I don't think I ever really thought "Joe is age x" during that campaign. But I definitely would have reacted sharply if someone had said "in 25 years he'll be 82!".

BTW, 82? frick that shite. That sounds YOUNG to me now.

he likely would have been the best president of the 4 main party people on that election ticket.
That seems true.

One thing I remember loving was how quickly the "Sore/Loserman" campaign signs were made up during the gray period between the election and the election being called.

I remember when Gore and Lieberman looked like the worst possible POTUS team in history. Biden makes them look like heroes.

He was just on CNBC last month warning that Biden was too old.

A man of integrity and a Democrat I could support. Unfortunately a dying breed in Obama’s party.

If he was 57 in 1992 or 2008 to make a run at the democratic nomination we have a different recent history, IMO.

I don’t understand why you are so hung up on age 57. We’ve had presidents elected during what you call “Lieberman’s window” that were much younger than 57, and much older than 57. Lieberman’s problem was he was never liberal enough to be a dimocrat nominee whether he was 37 or or 137. He was an independent, and had no window.

Joe's slipped on AF1 steps, off a bicycle, dropped himself on at least 2 stages. And that's what's been on camera!

The odds are against him going forward.

Wow, I swear I just saw a guest appearance (remote) on Fox or Newsmax about 2 or 3 weeks ago.

Lieberman was on O'Reillys show not long ago. He was a good dude and nothing like the communist whack job's that have taken over his party.

Lieberman is a right wing nut job compared to the dems of today.
