Why is a NFL coach being asked about racism?

How about defensive schemes?

That’s the thing.. if he was asked a question about racism respect his answer. If they were talking about defenses and threw that out then yes it’s a problem.

I really don’t think he speaks for the majority of black Americans. He sounds like an ignorant racist

Am I missing something? MLK never said you shouldnt notice the color of someone's skin (it's impossible not to notice and only a subverted moron would say otherwise). He said you shouldnt judge someone's character by their skin color.

Exactly. My understanding is that Boston is one of the most racist cities in America.

I was going to change it but I figured I would let the nerd that caught it feel good.

The NFL is a shell of its former self. Making sports politically and racially divided, has ruined it for the fans.

Mayo is looking more and more like a “bridge” hire.

But he said 'it does matter so we can fix the problem......that we all know we have.'

It will be interesting to see how cohesive the Pats are as a team. Dividing folks right off the bad seems like an odd strategy. Good luck Jerod.

This checks the diversity box and lets the patriots get a few high 1st round picks then Kraft will hire a guy to win.

But I thought if you don’t see color or judge by color you aren’t racist. So a position that was filled purposely because of color was not a racist hire ? His introduction speech that should include thanks , direction of team as he projects is instead a reflection of his beliefs about how racist he is?
