Why are you making things up? Goldberg was added by Waltz. What did Goldberg do wrong here????

All I have seen from Hegseth are accurate...but completely irrelevant...personal attacks on Goldberg.

I have yet to see any denial of Goldberg's reporting.

I don't see anyone on this board who fits that description. I'm not a Leftist. In this instance, I see reporting from a sketchy source ... but I don't see ANY refutation of the reporting from an aggressive White House.

Therefore, I believe Goldberg's reporting. If the White House issues a denial I will reassess the issue.

You are the one acting like you are a mindless cult member.

You realize the whole reason Signal exists is for secure chat, right? A lot of effort went into its development. Its security protocols were published in academic journals and later licensed to Apple, Meta and others. They all use the Signal protocol for their messaging apps because everyone knows it is the best out there.

It’s only as secure as it’s weakest user. In this case, a senior member of Trump’s cabinet.

How did no one in the chat notice this? Did everyone assume it was a different JG?

Yep that's the theory. There is a cabinet member with "JG" initials and the theory is everyone believed it was that JG and not Goldberg.

But this still begs the question as to why anyone in Trump's cabinet has Goldberg in their contact list. Kilmeade said he does not believe they did. His theory is the IT people who setup the phones somehow loaded Goldberg in there (either accidentally or to troll). All of these phones were government issued, they weren't personal phones.

Imagine them jumping on Facebook Messenger to have this chat, and saying "well, it uses the Signal Protocol."

This thread is wild.

Why does our government not have it's own secure messaging?

That's what I was thinking. Someone in one of the intel agencies is working with Goldberg to undermine Trump.

There it is. What else is new. At least there is only one now; back in the last Administration the whole damn Cabinet was after Trump's scalp.

Root the mole out and hammer them unmercifully. Whatever we tolerate, we get more of. MAGA and Deep State Globalists are incompatible.

I love how it’s all “whataboutism” and “hillary was worse!”

How about someone take a stand on principles instead of politics and call this out for the unacceptable conduct that it is.

some dude was saying last night it's because they're so busy that's why someone must have accidentally added a member of the press/journalist to a top secret group chat about national security.

i have no problem admitting that it's a black eye and heads need to roll.

but also i'm not particularly bothered by any thing said in there and it's not like corruption or anything particularly being hidden.

That’s a peripheral issue.

The first is that using signal to discuss classified material is not only unacceptable, it’s illegal.

So that’s the first level of spillage.

The second is the information was then, either intentionally or inadvertently (doesn’t matter), was provided to someone who didn’t have a clearance, and even if he did, he didn’t have a need to know the information.

That’s the second level of spillage.

Two severe violations that former-DOD personnel are sitting in prison for at the moment (see Airman Texiera).

Well that "someone" should be walking down the road and kicking rocks on their way to the unemployment office right now. Albeit that 'accident' notion is BS.

You are absolutely cooked, brother. DJT could bend you over sans lube and you'd shake your fist at Joe Biden.
