The best way to codify and guarantee abortion rights is for both houses to guarantee the right and then the president to sign it into law

Only makes sense if, no matter where you go, you’re always a Louisiana citizen.

So what happens in Vegas has to be reported to Jeff Landry?

The issue is that healthcare providers to teens are skirting parental notification. They are known bad actors.

This isn’t a fight I’d fight now. But it’s dishonest to pretend that the healthcare providers are just acting in the teen patient’s best interests.

I don't think anyone has argued that.

This is a literal "who will think of the children" example used to increase state authority over citizens (likely illegally). Even worse, this is an attempt to exert authoritarian power to undermine the federal system people like Landry claim to support.

You are correct. The states where the healthcare providers are located should be enforcing the laws on parental notification (ETA: and on mandatory reporting).

The linked article has a completely false statement stated as fact. It says puberty blockers are completely reversible. They are not. And almost no male placed on puberty blockers before reaching puberty will achieve an orgasm as an adult. I repeat this regularly hoping that it will click with people.

If they end up either gender or if they go back to being male? I'm curious.

The long-term effects of all this hormonal manipulation have clearly been underreported by the media and "science"

I believe that it would be either gender. Adult transitioners can achieve orgasm but it’s dependent upon the same physiology that’s being blocked from development by the puberty blockers.

Trying to find data on it to report that is conclusive on issues like you are discussing isnt easy. But that fact alone should give anyone considering it as option for their kids pause.

It appears based on the data I've seen adult male transitioners have a pretty good success rate of orgasm (around 85% one year after surgery). There just isnt a lot of data on orgasm ability I could find on those starting puberty blockers pre puberty then quitting or going on to transition. I know what Dr Marci Bowers has said but not much else .

He won't be governor. Idiots always end up electing a democrat there.

There is no fricking way Shawn Wilson will be elected.

Richard Nelson is the answer but his age will scare people away unfortunately.

It's strange that's the very same thing that's going to make him governor of Louisiana. No one loves being pandered to more than Louisianans.

All he has to do is throw in a "geaux tigahs!" and he'll be the next gov.

Jeff Landry recently stated that he would not have the Legis session overrule any gender, school grooming or canvassing of parish voter rolls which upsets me as Iam a Jeff Landry person to vote him for Governor

Clarifying my post:

Gov. Edwards vetoed Legis laws controlling gender treatment, schools grooming our children and canvassing parish voter rolls......

Jeff Landry doesn't thing the Legis special session should over rule any of Edwards' vetoes ?

Sounds like Landry has become a DEM temporarily?

Abortions are not the same as smoking pot. I see we have desensitized quite a bit.
