This is with 17 other states, including Arkansas, Texas, and South Dakota. Not just here.

Mr. Landry seems to be ignorant. As AG or a sitting Governor, that authority ends at the Louisiana state lines.
Landry is always using public office as a stepping stone. He used the AG office to base his run for Governor. If elected Governor, He'll have even higher political aspirations as did Bobby Jindal, and won't care less about Louisiana.
He has no platform for governing Louisiana. It just I will oppose Biden and his policies. What's his plan for improving education, jobs, and Infrastructure in this state? Anyone heard anything? Will he sign an agreement with Mexico to bring in more temporary workers for his own business interests?

Under this theory could Landry try to prosecute LA citizens who purchase weed legally in other states ?
Or states without gambling could prosecute residents who go to Louisiana casinos or place sports bets...

Richard Nelson is the answer but his age will scare people away unfortunately.
We have a very resource-rich state and have been stuck in Neutral for a hundred years.
Thought of this comparison the other day. Seems appropriate on an LSU board. We have had great recruits, but we throw them in a Les Miles offense or a Third and Chavis defense. Our idea of changing things is running right after we’ve been running left. In walks a young unknown Joe Brady, and we achieve the highest high we’ve ever seen. Not saying Richard is Joe Brady, but I am implying that more status quo will yield predictable results.

Yea, because those are the same as killing babies.
I guess if you change your residence in an abortion friendly state it could be fine. Otherwise, it's a homicide when you get back to your house in LA.

The issue is that healthcare providers to teens are skirting parental notification. They are known bad actors.
whatever they do inside California should be covered by their laws am i wrong?
we're free to not allow any of it in our state though

But not one Louisiana has jurisdiction to prosecute you for.

Thought just occurred to me. What if this posture ends up affecting today's veto override session? That would be so rich.

If someone travels out of state for an abortion what business is it of his? Jesus the small government republican party sure does love it a big invasive government.

It's not killing babies. No it wouldn't be a homicide when you get back. Louisiana has no jurisdiction over what medical procedures you have any where else and frankly it's as big government as it gets to advocate that they would.
And lastly I'm sure you have zero issues raising taxes to support all of the newly born kids throughout their life because they absolutely will require it. Or do you just care about them until they're born?

There is a whole issue of jurisdiction but let’s not get hung up on that. Will Jeff Landry be arresting people who get a hooker at the Bunny Ranch? This nothing more than moral grandstanding.

Well yeah. They're kids. We pay more taxes for dummer shite. College debt forgiveness and Ukraine come to mind. Might as well be children.

Regardless of your preferred descriptor of human offspring, it is killing babies.

and when you're paying for children you're really paying for unfit moms who can't handle their own selves

If the someone traveling out of state for an abortion is a minor who has been impregnated by statutory rape in Louisiana. Then it would be Landry’s business.

You're hypothetical has the rape occur in Louisiana which the adjudication of that rape would be in La.
The overarching theme is Landy's wants information on matters that the only connection to Louisiana is that the person is from La., not that the alleged act occurred there.
Why stop here? Louisiana could start by this logic to hand out speeding tickets that people get while driving in Mississippi to Louisiana, because it made the roadway into Louisiana unsafe by that person speeding

Idk, probably California?
We’re headed toward a country where in some states teenagers can’t get transgender care period, and in others they can get whatever they want whenever they want without telling anybody
