Half of the country already doesn't pay any federal income taxes, how does allowing more to not pay help anything?
If the problem is spending, cut spending. Don't start shifting the burden to those of use who already pay massive amounts of taxes each year.
Fix the underlying problem then reduce all of our taxes.

Everybody knows this. No one really cares. The people who should care, jump to defend spending when it meets their goals. No one truly wants to stop.

They are all conservatives fiscally..both in business and personal money. The problem was libs in government think it's fine to spend OTHER'S money

If we’re going to have taxation, then EVERYONE should have to pay. No exceptions. What we SHOULD do is implement a flat tax system. Thats the only just method.

He should state how much of that $12000 is Federal and how much is state and local.
A single person making $75K and taking the standard deduction only pays about $7K Federal. If he's including SS, State and Local in his 12K he's being dishonest.

The problem in addition to spending is all the sin and other taxes placed on things used by lower income. NY has taxes on everything even a high demand driving tax. All the states/cities/counties and agencies tax the crap out of everything.
