JD and Usha may consider a middle ground and adopt the Eckankar faith, which commingles only the best features of Hindu and Catholic.

I'm aa critical as anyone of JD Vance, but not here. I also can't imagine someone as busy as he is having time to "run the household."

If anything it's yet more evidence that JD is the tolerant, respectful person the Left claims to be while they demonize any legitimately decent person like JD
I think Vance is way more a political opportunist than hardliner. I dont think he really cares about half the stuff he talks about.

I think it's fair to conclude this. I believe it to some extent. But at the same time, I think he's at minimum very intellectually curious/open to the more unorthodox strains of the American right.
His conversion to Catholicism was shepherded by a close friend of Patrick Deenen as I understand. I just don't know that anyone who is a pure actor is going down the rabbit holes he goes down - which are unlikely to have major political payoff (outside of niche supporters like me) and which expose him to a lot of radioactive labels.

lol. This is just being woefully (and willfully) ignorant of the political practices of the vast majority of Indian immigrants in this country.

Huh? She seems to be the smart one.
Vance is an empty suit.

Why are you here?
The question is every bit as legitimate.

You know it is killing progressives not to be able to call Vance a racist due to his marriage.
I have no doubt the demons will do it anyway while degrading his wife.
If anyone knows how to frame even Jesus Christ as a racist, you can bet the democrats do.

I’m assuming his kids are being raised Catholic

I think most people don’t realize how truelly brilliant she is.
Yale Summa Cum Laude
Was editor of 3 different journals at yale.
Clerked for Kavanaugh when he was an appellate judge and John Roberts on the Supreme Court.
Her mentor in law school was Amy Chua who literally wrote the book Battle Hymm of the Tiger Mother.
If you told me she was Lady MacBething JD I would 100% believe it.

Great. No one cares.

Usha Vance said that she hasn’t been moved to “seek something different” and convert to Catholicism like JD because she grew up in a “stable” Hindu household.
Hindus don't believe in anything. In their system, any god is as good as the other. It makes it difficult to present the Gospel to them because they are willing to just accept Jesus/God as another one of their many gods. The "there is only one God" part is a difficult gap to cross with them.

I mean Vance also attended a Yale law and was on the Yale Law Journal. Any Chua was also his mentor.

Yet dems given enough time will call anyone and anything racist even though it has nothing to do with the actual definition of the word.

Hey, if their religion works for them and their values don’t conflict with mine for how our children get raised, then I don’t see the problem.
I mean if JD really believes what he claims to believe then he is ok with his wife burning in hell.
