In a groundbreaking legal battle, over 100 January 6 political prisoners have come together to file what is being hailed as the largest lawsuit ever against the Department of Justice.
Officially named the January 6 Restitution and Wrongful Incarceration Lawsuit, this $50 billion class action is spearheaded by Jake Lang, a January 6 prisoner who has been incarcerated for nearly four years. Lang, through his new organization, Federal Watchdog, the Anti-Lawfare Group, is joined by an esteemed team of conservative attorneys, including Steven Metcalf, Anthony Sabatini, Stephanie Lambert, and Jonathan Gross. Together, they aim to expose the injustices faced by January 6 prisoners and secure much-needed restitution.

The lawsuit, set to be filed on January 20, 2025, has already garnered widespread support, with over 100 prisoners signing on. This historic legal action seeks to compensate these individuals for the extensive harm inflicted by what they describe as a weaponized justice system. From the loss of generational family businesses, homes, and careers to the irreparable emotional and psychological damage suffered during years of wrongful incarceration, the plaintiffs are demanding accountability for the Federal Government’s actions.
Jake Lang, a prominent figure in the January 6 movement, emphasized the importance of this lawsuit, stating, “This isn’t just about restitution; it’s about setting a precedent. Weaponized government and lawfare against conservatives can never become the standard in America.”

Trump can direct the DOJ to concede the case and then order the Treasury to pay the settlement out of the pensions of former DOJ and FBI employees. Let the crying begin.

SFP will be their lead attorney

I wish them luck.
They have been wronged by our government.
The federal government is so strong, when they decide to wrong you, you are wronged regardless of what the law says outside of very rare situations.

I'm sure this is just a coincidence on the filing date

I'm sure Trump will welcome the discovery.

I am sure Vivek and Elon will happily funnel that money from the SWAMP and Ukraine when it's time to pay these Jan 6th people that were wrongfully locked up.

Question for anyone that might know, if they are suing are they going to be advised to keep quiet by their lawyers? Reason I ask is because I’ve been looking forward to the bad press they are going to rain down when they are free and able to talk.

The judges need to pay.

If they admitted guilt can they sue?
Don’t know the percentage, but not a lot of the people went to trial. Less than 150 of 1,400 plus that was arrested.
After pleading guilty a guy from southwest Missouri did around 60 days in county. He didn’t even go to prison and another guy got probation. I’m pretty sure most of the people that pleaded guilty got about the same.

So, the FedGov used our tax money to persecute them, and now they'll use more to pay them off. The J6-ers and the taxpayers get fricked while those responsible simply walk away.

I wish they could personally sue individuals in DOJ

Good. Also those who incarcerated them unjustly need to see jail time

Awesome, but there should be criminal trials for those responsible within the DOJ and Congress.
