Idk shite about the judicial system outside of the very basic shite that may sound like common sense, but probably isn't.

For example, from my perspective, I'd think some guilty verdicts could be undone once it becomes clear that if they didn't say guilty, they would be basically forever held in prison.. like some of the j6ers still are, without a trial. Who knows though? It may be a legit judicial strategy to keep people imprisoned indefinitely without trials unless they claim guilt.

Trump can direct the DOJ to concede the case and then order the Treasury to pay the settlement out of the pensions of former DOJ and FBI employees

Nice pipe-dream but Trump will have no such ability.

Wish I could give you 10 updates for that!

Awesome, but there should be criminal trials for those responsible within the DOJ and Congress.

And - if they aren't found guilty of criminal charges, they should still be at risk of being sued into abject poverty by civil suits brought by individual claimants so they can't settle as a class action. Bring these miscreants to court day after day after day until they can't get the smell of the courtroom out of their noses.

Good! Add one more item to the suit. Public hangings for the traitors behind this J6 farce.

J6 was the biggest injustice and threat to our country in a long time. Its important this is undone and in a very public way. This is how dictators take over countries and we almost lost ours. The focus on J6 was intentional to deflect the election steal.

I'm sure Trump will welcome the discovery

That coukd create one hell of a carch22 for the traitors in our gov. Try to settle out of court so as not to let discovery happen and prove it was all a charge or take their chances by going forward with it.

Trump doesn't need to direct anyone to settle this. Let it go to trial. The discovery phase will be outstanding entertainment

I think it’s important to actually have the trial.

People need to understand what the DOJ did, and what the judges let them get away with.

Some of these judges will need to step down or be impeached as well.

Not that I disagree with the Jan 6ers nor do I believe they don't deserve monetary restitution but any judgment or settlement will ultimately have to get paid by the taxpayers. Another F U to the American people from our government.

What also MUST hapoen is any Jan 6 cmte member, DOJ, FBI or Capital Police member who committed any illegal act to violate a Jan 6er civil rights should be charged, prosecuted, convicted and sent to prison. Its the only way this bullshite comes to an end.
