Cornyn is apparently saying that Paxton needs to lose so as to "teach the voters a lesson." So, there's your answer.
I get that. Cornyn was primaried because he is worse than Paxton. Owl seems to think that was a bad thing. Cornyn is awful just like thune and several others in the senate. It is a step in the right direction IMO. Unless talifricko wins which seems like an absurd situation. Owl you seem pretty confidant about Paxton losing. Why? Do you have privy to internal poling?

Talerico was always trailing.

No one has to wave a flag, your state borders Mexico lol you don’t live in Iowa. As I have stated many times, if Texas is dumb enough to elect Talerico then I hope you become Guatemala. I don’t live anywhere near Texas so if you don’t care then I certainly don’t

Nope, but did you need a poll to know Talarico wasn’t going to win Texas? If you believed he would, which I am positive you felt he would, you’re a retard
You think this means Paxton has won?
One positive poll and you’re showing your arse. Go vote
Pretty sure Talarico has a pretty damn good shot either way. This particular poll only has Paxton up not even a full percentage point.

We love polls and don’t think they are fake news if they say what we want them to don’t we folks

Conveniently left out of the tweet is that this is actually worse for Paxton that the last poll Quantus published in June. Tweet from the lead pollster at Quantus

Because for me it is about Paxton.
I have more of a problem with Paxton, a crook, trying to become a US Senator from Texas.
Paxton doesn’t care about ordinary Texans. He’s proven that would protect child molesters if they are his mega donors.

2) to provide media fodder on slow news days

The amount of goofy projecting and tough talking internet strangers in this thread is unreal. You folks sound ridiculous.
Just go to any of the prediction markets, Paxton is getting a huge payout if he wins.
If you REALLY think this poll is accurate put your money down and show us the slip, huge opportunity.

Ok I get that. What does talifreako bring to the table?

That is essentially tied
RCP still has the average (factoring in this poll), Fake Christian fig up by an average of 2.7

It's comical at this point
Cherry picking any poll that says what you want and ignoring all others

I just had a poll texted to me that while reading this thread.

It was obvious once the GOP let the money flow after the court decision that the dems were going to be in serious trouble. The GOP has been countering the dem lies with enthusiasm ever since.
People do not like those that lie.

For me Talarico brings to the table a few things. And I look for how he is different from the Paxton problem.
1. He is not a crook.
2. His track record in the State Legislature was that he worked well with republicans to get common sense bills passed.
3. He is much more convincing than Paxton that he is genuinely trying to do right by Texans
4. He is willing to he accountable and show up to face the questions in person.

So now all this hubbub over Talarico being ahead on one poll? It’s been multiple. But again who gives a shite about the polls. Go vote
