Just goes to prove that educators are frick ups who would never make it on the real world. That’s why colleges are bastions for liberal propaganda. They’re full of failures who live in a vacuum of other over educated losers.

Seems silly, seems insane but published in the NYT and I suggest you take them at their word. The radical left are enemies of the constitution and will destroy it if they can. They have the will and if they have strength and no one opposes them, they will destroy it.
Just look at the last 2 1/2 years if you have any doubts as to whether silly and insane ideas can't be turned into reality backed by the power of the Feds.

Real Americans (tm) do not want to change the Constitution.
BTW, where do we stand on scheduling that Convention of the States?

This has been going on for years, yet conservatives turn a blind eye to it. Finally they're saying it out loud.

A law professor from Georgetown said the following on MSNBC:
There you have it. Muh "evil white slave owning males" argument.
quote:
“This is us. This is 100% us, and it’s because we are essentially slaves to a document that was written more than 230 years ago by a tiny group of white slave-owning men. And we cannot break out of the bondage that we have imposed on ourselves from feeling like we have to– everything by our Supreme Court is decided in reference to this ancient document which is just not serving us well. It is causing enormous problems and enormous tragedies at this point.”

If they really want that, they should let the "red state dead weight" (as they call us) leave. After all, we cost more than we bring in, right?
Then the "so great blue state" remainder can rewrite the document to its liking, packing in as many other states as it wants (DC, Puerto Rico, etc.) for their "paradise".

Isn't there a process to amend the Constitution? Why aren't they pursuing that avenue if they are so unhappy with it?
I am guessing because no supports it

All leftists want to tear up the Constitution. These communists actually admitted it.

Among voters who Strongly Approve of Biden’s job performance as president, 54% at least somewhat agree that the Constitution “should be mostly or completely rewritten.”
These are shockingly low numbers that should tell them everything they need to know. Americans do not support throwing out the Constitution.

How is what they are writing from the posters on this board who keep posting that we need a constitutional convention?
How is that different from News Gingrich saying the constitution has ceased to matter?
Oh I know, they want to achieve different things.
But both sides want the same thing - to throw out the constitution because the old one is not workable anymore.
How is this thread from a month ago different essnetially? -

You aren't so dumb that you don't know the difference but you are dishonest enough to pretend that they're the same thing, all in an effort to preserve the schtick.

and yes, we should throw out the Constitution,
So you no longer agree with the cornerstone element of what the entire nation was founded upon. Do you understand how significant your statement is?
Do you at least agree that a separation should be encouraged to allow those who don’t agree with you to live as they prefer or is it your enlightened responsibility to drag everyone with you to a bright new future whether they like it or not?

Another mensa candidate who doesn't understand the difference between eliminate and amend.

He wasn't saying that's a good thing.

Both sides unequivocally do not want the same thing which is why the constitution has become a problem.
No system of government can be implemented that reflects the will of the people when half want to operate under the existing constitution and a defined set of individual rights predicated on enlightenment ideals and the other half want to operate under a globalist collectivist government in which the individual has few if any rights and the government is empowered to be the “benevolent master”.
We’ve exceeded the elasticity of the system of government we live under because it was never intended to operate as it’s being asked to. It only works when the vast majority share similar views and values and the US in 2022 no longer does.

Ivy League is Marxist Higher Education.
It’s their “farm team” where they Vet future leaders and likely start their blackmail & extortion evidence against future leaders.
“Hey, come join this fraternity, btw, you’ve got to wear this blindfold, costume and frick some goats and maybe some kids If you are extra special”
They create blackmail files for future leaders at these Institutions.
That’s one thing that I don’t like about DeSantis, he’s an Ivy Leaguer, and he doesn’t have Frick-U Money, I believe he can eventually be bought. I hope I’m wrong, but the fact that the RINOS & MSM are pushing him as the face of the party gives me an uneasy feeling.
I know my opinion on RD will get some negative attention, but that’s my theory on him. I could be wrong & hope I’m wrong!

“The most basic question is not what is best, but who shall decide what is best.”
“ As history has also shown, especially in the twentieth century, one of the first things an ideologue will do after achieving absolute power is kill.”
