I disagree. I don't believe this nation has gine far enough along this path to make that decision. Not after the changes we've seen since 2024.

I understand folks want to see more, I do also, but Trump isn't a king and we have election cycles which restrict the drastic changes we desire to witness.

Hopefully it's true. "Someone" has been going around and burning temples across Japan. At least a dozen have burned recently and the official word has been "we don't know" for each one of them. Some of these temples were nearly 1,000 years old.

Man, if you burn a 1,000 year old temple the punishment should be death.

-Separation of powers and checks and balances on government: Presbyterian church government is set up this way and likely inspired the model we have as a nation, understood in light of the doctrine of Total Depravity and the need to check sinful hearts

-Limited government with separation from the Church: based on biblical principles of the primacy of the church in ecclesiastical affairs and the government--working alongside the church but separate from her--in civil or judicial matters

-Rule of law: laws apply to the rulers as well as to the people, as all people are subject to Christ as King of kings

-Individual liberty: particularly freedom of conscience, speech, and property

-Natural and inalienable rights: life, liberty, and property are rooted in the biblical understanding of a Creator that endowed us with rights that other men have no right to take away on their own

-Equality before the law: the Bible teaches that rulers of all kinds are to not show partiality and are subject to God's law equally as other men are

-Federalism: again, Presbyterianism in action, but also federal representation with Adam and Jesus
