Agreed, since self-policing others isn't working.

While I agree with your sentiment OP, the consistency side of me comes in and says "no, freedoms are freedoms and rights are rights. Regardless if the left tries to suppress them on the reg."

If I get shot in a mass shooting, shame on me for not carrying more firepower than the average regressive retard.

SFP, you will appreciate this old thread that I started long ago during a similar period of debate:

Pesky Bill of Rights thread

There were similar reactions to my thread, i.e. irony lost on them.

They discovered that mass shootings were significantly more likely to occur if another shooting that received national media coverage took place in the previous 13 days

Something similar happened in Plano, Texas about 30 years ago. A girl at Plano HS committed suicide. The school held a memorial service in the auditorium. Lots of students got up to speak about how wonderful she was.

A girl in the audience thought "Wow, people would say nice things about me if I died." So, she committed suicide. The school was advised 'Do not hold another memorial service. This sparks other incidents.'

Do you believe that all activities should be restricted or prohibited if it can be proven that doing so is a net benefit to society?

I think I'll take my chances with a free press.

We should also stop allowing the loudest anti gun voices in America in Hollywood to make movies with a shite ton of gun violence and making it look cool and fun.
