Wait what? I understand this is a union and not the actual IRS. But is there a practical difference when one of these stasi agents comes a aknockin’ because you posted “taxation is theft” on TigerDroppings?
For the record, taxation is definitionally not theft and we should all pay more than our fair share to the benevolent government who has our best interests at heart and for the good of humanity. It’s our moral and ethical obligation.

I cannot believe that Federal government employees have a union and can engage in political activity. I thought government civil service uniformly among the States prohibited political activity. It was designed to depoliticize the civil service and protect the individual employees from retributive and indiscriminate termination when new elected officials took office. It is supposed to be a trade off, no politicking but job security.
