Ireland to kill 200k cows to meet climate targets

Ireland is reportedly considering killing 200,000 cows in the country to meet the European Union’s climate targets.
Not everyone is a fan of this method.
“Reports like this only serve to further fuel the view that the government is working behind the scenes to undermine our dairy and livestock sectors,” said Tim Cullinan, president of the Irish Farmers’ Association.
It also caught the attention of Tesla Inc. CEO Elon Musk.
“This really needs to stop. Killing some cows doesn’t matter for climate change,” he wrote in a tweet.

Pick any heinous crime & these freaks would legalize it if you told them it would save a dolphin, reduced carbons or allowed them to butcher a late term baby.

It needs to be $30/lb and will be as progressive policies continue.
You shouldn’t be eating meat anyway. You should be eating beans. Meat is for our elites, like John Kerry and Jeff Bezos, not you. Perhaps one day meat can be for some of the masses if it is man made in a lab, maybe.
Climate change is the Progressives’ religion and these cows will be a worthy sacrifice in the climate’s honor.

It should be noted this is for dairy cows only, so no telling what they are planning on the beef side. I’m sure it’s just the tip of the iceberg. Reminds me a little of the government cheese program under Reagan. Dairy farmers who opted in for that could sell dairy cows but they could be sold for slaughter only if I remember correctly. And the government need to stay out of this.
