This is correct.

Iran knows that the USA lacks the will and capability to invade Iran with a conventional ground force whose objective is to conquer Iran and institute regime change.

Iran knows that option is out of the question.

So, the only strategy remaining to the USA is to continue to attempt to destablilize, subvert and punish Iran such that the people there themselves institute regime change.

I'm not sure one way or another that the USA has even begun to implement any special forces operations inside Iran to facilitate the USA's strategy implementation. I'd say probably not, because that would be very risky and the USA cannot afford to deal with a US special operator POW in IRGC hands.

I see this "status quo" war tempo going on indefinitely.

I'm just glad this opening and closing of the straight isn't a drinking game.

I heard Trita Parsi on Mario Nawfal’s show yesterday. He thought numbers like that were crazy and would really hurt some of Iran’s asian clients. I think he anticipated it coming down to a fraction of 1 percent.

I heard an interesting theory that Trump may try to back door something with Oman and get a piece of their tolls to claim a win.

What would taking that facility do that just blockading the straight wouldn't do?

This is one of those things that is hard to sift through the propaganda. Like if 10% of normal traffic is getting through, each side claims they control it. I think there are marine traffic sites that cover this.

Yeah...

Can they throw in a threesome with me, Sydney Sweeney and Ana de Armas?

I mean, since we're dreaming and all.

Correct. The American public is tired of war. It’s one of the main reasons Trump was elected.
Iran is not a threat to us and we aren’t colonizers. There is no reason for us to be there.

I have no problem with Israel being a country, but they should be able to handle their own defense without the US. If Israel wants to take out Iran, may the best man win. But leave the US out of it. If They can’t defend themselves then they aren’t a legitimate country

So Iran goes through this opening the strait talk and Trump makes concessions.

Iran gets to the end of the talks to then move the ball and demand for stuff for the opening of the strait.

We are going to end up having to destroy everything about Iran and the US, world, and gulf states will have to take the pain.

Uh huh. Been hearing that from you fricks since the war started.

Bottom line is the only way we can dictate terms is if we're willing to commit ground troops. We commit ground troops and a blood bath follows that the public won't support. Neither Trump nor his financiers want that heat so they will drop a few bombs here and there and stall.

It was high idiocy to start this war and it will ultimately be Trump's (negative) legacy.
