They can’t be engaged like it is a normal situation. These are religious fanatics. Iran can be trusted about as far as I can throw my car. Do what needs to be done and quit these stop/start approaches. It is ridiculous to still be in the same situation we are with the Strait of Hormuz. Trump is getting idiotic advice and pathetic effort from someone, which I believe involves his son in law, also.

When Trump shows us the fruits of his 8D chess in terms of actual, objectively measurable positive outcomes in Iran I will give him full credit and admit I was wrong happily because it would mean something great happened for America.

Right now there is zero objective evidence something great for America is taking place in Iran regardless of how that makes anyone feel.

Personally it doesn’t make me at all happy for having predicted it, it makes me incredibly depressed for what it means for the conservative populist agenda in the remainder of the Trump term and next two election cycles unless it gets resolved and we can get positive movement elsewhere.
