All you did was make my point. All these claims over and over that a deal was near and the strait will be open affects the stock market in a positive fashion. Trump knows he is in a can’t win war so he and his cronies might as well make some money on it.

Thanks. You’re an idiot. Confirmed.

And by cronie you of course mean everyone who’s not a panican idiot like you appear to be

We’re talking about the ample opportunities for a *peaceful* negotiated end, having been offered to Iran. That’s the specific remark to which I replied, i.e. why so many attempts at negotiation. In which case wouldn’t my comments there make sense, even if you don’t necessarily agree??

Maybe he’s stringing them along for his/our own unknown purposes…..why couldn’t that be as possible as anything else?
Oh yeah, makes a ton of sense.

He’s impulsive and not very smart. His secretary of war is a morning television host.
It’s not complicated to see how we’re in such a mess.

Trump has two choices, leave with hat in hand or an all out ground invasion.
Option 3,4,5,6 is agree to some shite deal like this.

Well how about you give us your version of what perhaps has motivated Trump to give negotiations such a heavy shot throughout this thing
Because he doesn’t have a viable alternative.
He won’t put boots on the ground and Iran can make it too painful for regional partners and US bases in the region if we try to sustain a massive air campaign.

I really don't think that this conflict or whatever DJT says has much impact on the markets like it did months ago. Economic factors are pushing the market and the Iran thing has already been factored into the pricing. Oil is still in 70s for WTC and low 80s for Brent. Earnings reports have been favorable recently and manufacturing construction is taking off. Copper prices are rising and reaching highs. I haven't checked on shipping containers manufacturing, but I'd bet build orders are up.
But you do you. Always remember, buy high and sell low.

I love how you armchair quarterbacks think you know a fraction of what is really going on. Please, continue.
