There is absolutely something wrong with the religion. Their book tell them to kill and maim non believers. That is part of the religion and really their political ideology.

The Bible says similar shite and in both cases the scriptures are talking about conduct of behavior during times of invasion or war. You only see it as bad on one side because you've grown up propagandized.
Also, I think I'll start labeling all Christians as polygamists based on the interpretations of fundamentalist mormons. Can you see the slippery slope here?

You're really out here defending Islam and comparing it to Christianity.
Well, let's see the evidence. I've read the Bible and don't remember those parts. Paste scripture from the New Testament (since that is the guide for Christians) that supports Christians killing, enslaving, or forcefully converting all non-believers.

So, you're argument is that most muslims don't support killing nonbelievers. We have studies and polls proving otherwise. The majority of muslims support political violence even if you don't want to admit it.

First, I’m not a Christian. Second, I didn’t even know you had posted anything about Christianity, so you are way off base. I was just referring to your post that there was nothing wrong with Islam itself; it’s just the theocracies that are bad. Maybe you weren’t aware, but that’s what Islam is - both a religion and a system of government.
