If they do attack those ships, I'd hate to be on the plane back into Iran with those Iranian "negotiators". That plane is doomed.

No but a mission kill is definitely possible.
Our destroyers are likely very heavy on interceptors after resupplying for this reason. It's possible they may also be carrying CUAS munitions.
What I'm really interested to see is where our LCS squadron is with the MCM aboard.

I suspect they are a security screening force so that minesweepers can roam unmolested while doing work in the strait
