And just like that, the world stopped caring where Kansas City was.

“What in the Wide World Of Sports is a goin on here? I hired you people to run a caucus, not jump around like a bunch of Kansas City fagg-ots!”

First part of the article:
Are they trying to steal it from Sanders? Iowa should be a red flag for Democrats.
CNN on Republicans:
Well, the party stole it from Sanders to prop up Clinton last time - and she couldn’t convince middle America that she was more in tune with their concerns than a billionaire that lives on the top of his own 5th Avenue skyscraper.
This time they are going to do the same thing for Warren or Biden.

(CNN)The Democratic 2020 crusade to oust President Donald Trump could not have got off to a more disastrous and embarrassing start.
The party couldn't even deliver a first-in-the-nation election night winner after a vote-reporting debacle in Iowa — where candidates spent months and millions of dollars vying for a glittering opening prize in their nominating duel

on the eve of his State of the Union address and two days before he's set to be acquitted in his impeachment trial, things cannot have worked out better for the President.
So. much. winning.

Lol, like Trump needed an opening.

The big Hawkeye State miss will be agonizing for whoever comes out on top but for any candidates who under performed -- perhaps former Vice President Joe Biden -- it might turn into a priceless lifeline.
Damn!

The caucus nightmare also played right into the hands of a President spoiling for months to brand his rivals as weak, disorganized and even worse — plotting to rig the results to hand its crown to an establishment favorite.
Holy shite!
quote:
There's little doubt that Trump, who consistently erodes distrust in institutions and governing systems, will weaponize such a narrative if it looks like he will lose in November.
They just couldn’t make it through without a dig could they?

They are trying to give Biden a break by creating doubt on the Iowa results.
Democratic Party is corrupt as frick.
Democratic Party is corrupt as frick.

It could be that after the countless twists of the campaign and changes of fortune, Monday's snafu -- apparently by a vote-reporting app -- will be a distant memory by November, especially if one of the candidates turns Trump into a one-term president. Democrats will get the last laugh then.
Two things, first, CNN actually thinks that this will just go away and people will forget about this utter disaster come the general election. Yeah, Trump is gonna just let this die out. Secondly, CNN actually thinks one of these folks actually has a chance to beat Trump. And that they'll will be laughing.
How can someone be so out of touch with reality?

Right. Because if there's anything we've learned over the past 10 years, it's that we should totally trust our governing systems and institutions without a second thought
Bunch of immaculate angels, the lot of them.
ETA: just caught this

who consistently erodes distrust
So if he's "eroding distrust," wouldn't that mean that he's creating more trust, not less?
I guess this article didn't get proofread.

Opening to Trump. Are you fricking kidding me. That's like saying saying that Oklahoma gave an opening to Joe Burrow.

Isn't this exactly what the DNC is doing in regards to Sanders victory in Iowa?

In the days leading up to this I was hearing stories all over the place asking the question "should Iowa still be the first state?"
The stories always slanted towards "no, it should not be any longer due to lack of diversity."
DNC could be intentionally screwing Iowa to garner support for having a more diverse state go first.

Except the problem isn’t Iowa, it’s the Dems.
Having the app that shite the bed being made by a shadowy consortium of Hillary and Obama aides plus Google et all means the onus for this farce isn’t on Iowa, it is on the Dems who likely “nudged” Iowa to replace their existing process with this shite.

My favorite quote of Stephen Collinson, CNN
“There's little doubt that Trump, who consistently erodes distrust [sic] in institutions and governing systems, will weaponize such a narrative if it looks like he will lose in November.”
CNN leftists morning the erosion of “distrust” in institutions (mostly CNN) and “governing systems” aka socialism and the swamp!
His word associations in this article:
Democrats: crusade to oust President Donald Trump, Democrats will get the last laugh.
Trump: spoiling for months, consistently erodes distrust, will weaponize, pounced, spinning conspiracy theories and disinformation, create a narrative that tars the eventual nominee as illegitimate, gleefully wringing every last drop of political advantage out of the Democratic blushes, formidable turnout machine, which is being built with his massive campaign war chest.
Easy to see the bias of CNN’s White House reporter. More “eroding of distrust!”

WHO COULD EVER INSULT OUR INSTITUTIONS AND GOVERNING SYSTEMS RIGHT NOW AFTER LAST NIGHT?!?!?!?!?!? WHO I ASK!

Would not the erosion of distrust actually mean instilling trust?

Well, the party stole it from Sanders to prop up Clinton last time
He'll end up with a new summer home and sports car, and the bernie bros will be pissy.
It's amazing that the Demoncrats practice this obvious and blatant frickery and subterfuge right out in the open with zero ramifications.
Has there ever been a more corrupt political faction in the history of the USA then the modern DNC?
