So Obama is releasing a story about him almost being assassinated because he failed to kill Trump and is jealous that Trump got clout from it?

Worst president in my adult lifetime. FBO

I’m 50. Grew up in South Louisiana and North Ga. I’ve seen the Klan once. I was in my late teen years on my way back from hunting in Butts County Ga. and saw them in a gas station parking lot. That’s it.

Born and raised in the deep south and still live here. I know not ONE KKK member or heard of any KKK activities. Just another boogie man these days for the left to divide people

Literally none of this happened. The KKK isn’t even a thing in 2024

Who was arrested and prosecuted for involvement in this conspiracy ? Who was convicted ?

First time anyone in the public is hearing of this. Color me skeptical. The media is so full of shite.

I’ve grown up and lived in the rural south my whole life in GA and now SC. I haven’t seen or heard of anything remotely KKK related since the mid 80’s….where they were laughed at as a bunch of crazies.
I think this is BS.
I think this is BS.

Never encountered any other Klansmen in all that time (to my knowledge). And I know a lot of people.
Agree and that was my point. At 59 years old, I have never seen or engaged directly with the klan or a known klansman. The government puts forth a narrative that these are highly active groups out recruiting members.
Down voters, I would take as leftist that don’t like pushback on the narrative.

No one believes anything the media says

I think this is BS.
The media would have been over the moon to report on how racist southerners tried to kill Obama
I don’t think even that happened

Exactly.
No organization in the US has a better "marketing" department than the KKK. This board is comprised of posters largely from or living in the southeast. Yet, ALL would tell you in their experience the KKK is so insignificant they are barely noticeable...if noticeable at all. To the extent it still exist, it's largely comprised of a few rednecks in rural towns occasionally meeting at some rinky-dink dwelling/structure to bitch about things that gets FAR more publicity than they actually deserve.
However, to those living on the coasts and in large cities outside of the South they are convinced there are nightly horse rides and cross burnings throughout black neighborhoods. It's COMPLETE liberal/victim fan fiction. So much so, they have had to resort to fabricating "racist acts" (Jussie Smollet, Lebron's gate, the "noose" at Talledega) to continue to convince people their fiction actually exists.

All you need is a few people on the inside to give the ‘stand down’ call. Then your story doesn’t have to be filed in the fiction aisle.

Looks like a Democrat "Me too!" attempt at relevancy. It will shortly come to light that Joe Biden single-handedly prevented this from happening when he discovered the plot on one of his many train rides between Delaware and DC.
