That’s awful. We shouldn’t bomb civilians and destroy entire cities.

After everything the Japanese soldiers did fighting, they fricking deserved it.

They’re responsible for some of the greatest atrocities known to man in WW2.

Which American city did Iran attack in 2026?

And if you want to be a Big Brain and claim some other point in the past, I'll just cite 1953 and win there, too.

Honestly, your opinion doesn’t mean anything. Neither does mine.

All we seem to do is get on here and whine. You have no control of the situation and you never will.

War is hell. Generally, I'm not an admirer of any democrat President. Most of'um were/are crooks but I do admire FDR, and Harry Truman. Harry Truman took one look at the cost of invading Japan and okayed the use of the nuke.

During the war, my Dad couldn't find help to bring in his crops - all the help enlisted in the Army. So he applied to the Department of War for German POW's to help bring in the crops. To say the German POW's were enthusiastic is an understatement. My older brother remembers a deuce and a half truck driving up to our farm loaded with German POWs and two GI guards.

The lead POW (an NCO) spoke french, and my father engaged in a conversation with him. The POW was happy the Americans captured him. Why? He and his POW pals got shipped to POW camps here in America. The German POW's captured by the Ruskies didn't fare so well. They're still digging up remains of german soldiers in mass graves, along the former Eastern Front. Generally, the Ruskies didn't take prisoners.

America nuked Nagasaki and Hiroshima - the Japs surrendered.

"It is well that war is so terrible, or we should grow too fond of it" - General Robert E. Lee

Seriously, have y'all been in a coma the past 20+ years?

This is exactly the type of scenario that creates the new wave and next generation of anti-American Muslim extremists.

Have you been in a coma?

This is a war to liberate a people from an authoritarian terrorist regime. Have you not seen the Iranian people who fled their country, to get away from these evil people, marching in support of Donald Trump?

Do you really believe the crap you type or are you just a troll?

Did Mr. Rumsfeld or Mr. Cheney tell you that, President Bush?

What does this have to do with the US creating the anti-American extremist Muslims who will kill those people, too?

"Which American city......."? Not yet. In just 2 mths 2 terrorist "groups" have been apprehended before they could "bomb an American city". Go back as far as you want but to claim that America, let alone Israel ( that'll probably trigger you ) stated Middle East attacks. around the world is just your hate showing up again.

And I'm not shocked that you didn't want to give details of when this started

The Iranian regime has been exporting terrorism since 1979. Their allies are not their fellow Islamic nation states, their allies are China, Russia and North Korea. As a matter of fact the other Islamic centered states are almost unanimously in support of our action. Taking out this bunch of thugs will do more to pacify the region than any action we have taken since 1979.

Troll away troll.

You mean like what we did in 1953 to start this whole mess?

Why do you think this will go any differently than 1953 or our other similar endeavors in the ME (like Iraq)?

Imagine downvoting someone for speaking out against bombing civilians.

There’s some f’ed up people in here whom I doubt served a day in the military.

You know nothing of 1953 and what you think you know is not the truth.

Also, what does this have to do with firebombing Tokyo in WWII?

Try to at least stay on subject or better if you want to talk about 1953 read a lot of history books and post on that subject.

It may not.

But the terror regime has been ousted and (what will be different) is the people of Iran will choose their future
