Cities said the cancellations were prompted by “heightened public safety concerns” and the potential for protests. Feucht’s outspoken views on abortion, gender identity and LGBTQ2+ rights has drawn criticism and been cited as a source of tension.
They admit that the police action was aimed at silencing political views. And slo thinks this supports whatever position his goalposts have moved to after getting kicked in the ribs all morning.

But if you have a concert in a church?
You haven’t delineated the difference between a worship service and a concert from a simple definitional standpoint or a permitting standpoint.

Yes. What you posted does not oppose what I said. You just said some venues can get a universal permit of sorts that doesn't require them to have individual permits for every event. That is still a permit. So it's within the context of the words of the post you quoted. Also, clearly this church did not have one of those universal permits so it's not even relevant to the story

You have to have permits for events universally.
This isn’t true at all. The only permit we need to host our annual gala in the local event center is a liquor permit. If we don’t provide liquor no permit needed.

These stories never end up how they're portrayed on social media.
Are you saying that there weren't protests outside where at least 1 person was arrested and someone set off a smoke bomb inside the church, to which no police action was taken?

Some people just give a lot more leeway for lying to Christians because they are Christians themselves and they think that the ends justify the means

No. That's not what I was saying

You're on the narcissism spectrum no doubt

but, why?
And the bigger question is, why would you even defend that?

Perhaps you can tell us why Feucht applied for permits for his concerts initially.
That should help guide your discussion.

This would be a good question. In this instance, entry was free.

He has an axe to grind and is failing to hide it.
He either won't answer your question honestly, or he'll attack the word defend or some other detour.

He has always sided against evangelicals. No matter how horrid the other option is

The guy was labeled as a MAGA Christian performer. With his obsessive compulsion, slow never had a choice.

quote:This is a lie, at least in America. These types of events happen every weekend with musicians; Kari Jobe, Newsboys/Phil Joel, Marty Haggard, etc. No permits have ever been required other than what is necessary for typical worship services. Often, these artists will perform during the worship service and then have a "concert" later that night. Again, this has been typical for at least 3 decades.
If you host an event at a church, you need a permit
SFP is as wrong about this as when SFP made up words in the 14th amendment. When I pressed the issue, SFP ran away, as usual. I can dig that thread up if SFP wants.

Canadian woke bros punching air after First Nations tribe offers Sean a venue for worship service in the aftermath of last night.
It’s the equivalent of a trans group in America inviting JD Vance to a gala
