Fixed it for you.

Seriously his refusal to intervene in what threatens to be an economic catastrophe may be the straw that broke the camels back, for his presidency. We're looking at a potential $5,000,000,000/ day hit to our economy.

If this persists for as little as one week he may be compelled to leave office and set the stage for a Great White(?) Savior in the form of Kamala Harris to be sworn in as President, negotiate with the unions and mgmt, and bring gridlock in the dispute to a felicitous end.

Given the calamitous disaster of Helene, it would seem that they would at least suspend the Strike until the bodies are recovered and the lights are back on.

If they don't, they can go to hell and I hope Trump does what Reagan did and fires every damn one who votes not to suspend. Disgusting!

Because DC is pretty autonomous at this point. They get on the news and act like they make daily choices for our survival.

Same as with Congress. There's no need for them to be as active as they are. They've made the entire Country into a disaster so they're needed.

Cry me a fricking river! I work in industrial plants (Chemical plants, Power plants, Refineries, The Port, New Projects,....) we all worked during Covid also. I didn't see people dying. A few got something similar to the flu, I did myself.
frick this guy! He overestimates his value.
They can train a monkey to run those overhead cranes. They are running friction rigs making critical lifts! Fire em all and replace them.

This is why unions have outlasted their purpose.
