If you’re a casual observer of the news, you’re screwed.

You have to do your own research. I am a conservative and I was listening to a conservative program this morning that I like and listen to all the time.
However, this guest today was talking about how Thomas Massie is aligned with AOC and the Squad and made Massie sound like a far left lunatic.
I AM NOT A MASSSIE SUPPORTER! And if he loses his election, totally fine with me. I’m sure his replacement will be even better if it happens.
So here’s my point. If you’re a casual observer of the news and don’t fact check you probably assume Massie votes against Trump on bills all the time. You probably don’t understand why John Fetterman doesn’t just go ahead and become a Republican.
But take a look at their voting records and see how they align with Trump so far. Check CQ Roll Call or VoteHub. Both reliable sources on voting records.
Thomas Massie — Republican, Kentucky House member
Trump alignment: 82%
John Fetterman — Democrat, Pennsylvania senator
Trump alignment: 28%
Fact checking is indeed time consuming and a pain in the arse, but when it comes down to issues you really want to know more about, you gotta spend the time and look into shite.

Massie's votes against Trump have come against the BBB spending bill, budget reconciliation and foreign aid spending, primarily. Trump has been stymied on many areas of his agenda in congress through both terms, yet he goes after Massie arguably harder than any other. Certainly harder than Thune, who has gatekeepered electoral reform into oblivion.
Of all the bastards in DC, the one opposing spending and foreign aid is not the one I'm the most concerned with.

What a shitty way to judge a politicain

I don't think Massie's overall voting record is the issue. He is certainly more in line than many other Republicans. Massie's issue is that he is always much louder and more excited when he votes against the Republican majority than when he votes with it.
This makes him come across as an obstructionist. Many people view him as part of the reason, rightly or wrongly, the majority can't get shite done. If he just quietly made the same votes, people would grumble, but there wouldn't have been the move to get him out.

Fetterman knows if you kiss Trump's arse, he leaves you alone even if you have little in common with him.

Sometimes it can be.
But for anyone who supports the president and believes he is trying to make some major changes for the better, then it's perfectly reasonable to expect the president's party to support him in his endeavors.
Massie's problem is that he's too much of an idealist. You cannot succeed in politics being an idealist. Massie lacks the ability to trade his four dollars for your five dollars. The four dollars he's giving up is most important to him, even more than the fact that he got the better end of the bargain.

Trump doesn't have another election.

Very true and what's really crazy: Shitlibs drone about "muh Fox News" but can't acknowledge their favorite outlets have been doing the same thing (tailoring content to maximize views)
Yeah you dumbfricks, we've known MSM's tactics since 2010 or before. Wake the hell up.

This is admitting you have no personal policy positions and just want to be on a team, instead.
It makes your opinion on political issues worthless, because you have no actual personal beliefs.

I hope you weren't one of the guys melting about Kevin McCarthy or John Thune

Do you want to judge them by who sides with the Constitution and has higher literacy?

A lot of dumb dumbs take their marching orders from whatever talking head they've allowed to rot their brain; so, yeah, we're screwed.

It's all BS, both sides. Designed to divide, not unite. Politicians are stealing billions while we argue over basically scraps.
