This literally just happened in Baton Rouge.

Why u keep trying to come up with “what if” scenarios to legitimize something where over 95% of abortions do not involve rape?

I'm pretty sure its less than 5% but that does roughly cover abortions outside of simply convenience. That is the more complicated cases and they represent thousands of cases. How those cases are handled will have a huge impact on the abortion debate.

Lots of responses.

Not a single unqualified "yes."

Red herring.

Why not stick to the real issue instead of attempting a gotcha that even most dullards have already contemplated?

But to answer your question, my wife would be admitted to a hospital and would likely receive whatever treatment was necessary to prevent the egg from being fertilized. Preventing fertilization is not what pro-lifers refer to as a abortion. Many pro-lifers are also ok with the morning after pill for occasions like this. What most pro lifers oppose is abortion after x days.

Most pro life people agree with exceptions for rape incest but that does not seem to be the case for many on this board .

That's probably because the insane are grasping at straws looking for any and every loophole or scenario to justify their blood lust.

We already know - you/they want post-birth abortion/murder to be legal nationwide.
When would their/your lust for infant blood be satiated?

I won't concede one fricking inch to the monsters.
You can take the legislation or take the lead.

A twist on the Michael Dukakis - Bush debate question (back when CNN actually was a news network) about Kitty Dukakis.

Let's see how many Michael Dukakis equivalents we have here.

they would give her plan B at the hospital, nothing would ever implant. the fact that with universal access to birth control, condoms, plan B, etc, etc, 93% of abortions are still for what is essentially birth control after the fact shows that pretty much every pro abortion argument is stupid and that abortion is a result of irresponsible people

You notice you have to look for some obscure scenario to get people to agree? This is how children communicate…

“Would you buy me a new ball if it landed in a tree?
“I’d get a ladder”
“What if the wind blew it on top of the house?”
“I’d move the ladder”
“What if a bird picked it up and flew away”
“I would get a new ball”
“So you’re for buying me a new ball?!?!”

Congrats I guess.

I’d kill the rapist and favor putting the baby up for adoption.

I'd be more worried about my jail sentence for killing the rapist.

Sorry if I disrupted your 7th grade thought experiment.

Funny how this board slants so overwhelmingly pro life and abortion is murdering babies, and not a single person has answered to say yes absolutely their wife should have to complete the pregnancy.
