Can any leftist coherently articulate how graduating students who are not proficient in math and reading skills is effectively "removing barriers"?
And people still claim Mississippi is forging numbers to show such a dramatic increase in ranking. This while a D in Baltimore schools makes you the Valedictorian, "black English" is being pushed in California, and reading and math is racist in many blue states.

It doesn’t. I think the elite California universities had to bring back standardized testing as requirements after professors were having to teach remedial algebra.

The educational theory behind this is that giving kids knowledge of English, math, and science helps perpetuate the hegemony. It only furthers the dominant corrupt system. Instead of creating students who can read and write, we need to create revolutionaries who will overthrow the dominant corrupt system.
It’s effective because the graduated, illiterate students are part of a permanent underclass who can be convinced the system has failed them and it needs to be overthrown. All the while, they’re too dumb to know that the system that failed them is the one that wants to overthrow.

If they fail HS why not just hand out certificates of association, which indicates tax money was used to educate this person, and while they didn't achieve the necessary levels to graduate, they were a part of the system.

If you read more into it, people argue that you still have to take the course though you don't have to demonstrate you know shite about the content.
Telling on myself here. I took a calculus course in the past and got a B+ on it. Tbh, I still don't know shite about calculus. I could not really apply today what the course says I learned.
So, this is way worse at the high school level.

Yet there is laws requiring them to go to school, hire teachers whose job is to teach not daycare, enforce with prejudice homeschool curriculum and have laws on the books that an take kids away from their parents for neglecting their children’s education
