I'm curious if people who own them will still be able to get them serviced over the coming years/decades.
It's a MUCH more serious problem than service - so many of them have caught on fire that many major insurance companies will not cover them and owners are warned to not park them inside a garage - no insurance, no registration - completely worthless - Ford is offering pennies on the dollar to buy them all back at a cost of several billion $$$.

The Republicans are planning to conduct a YUGE 250-year anniversary of the July 4, 1776 Declaration of Independence to be followed by an off-year Republican Convention. Hopefully, those two events will provide a patriotic boost and remind the electorate which side loves this country and which side is pure filth, determined to overthrow the Constitutional republic and turn it into a communist shithole.
My prediction is the Republicans grow their House and Senate majorities.

1 - JD Vance - obvious and great candidate
Republicans have a very deep bench so I will name more than 3 - in no particular order:
Marco Rubio - SoS
Ron Johnson - Senator, WI
Clay Higgins - Representative, LA
Greg Steube - Representative, FL
Byron Donalds - Representative, FL
Tim Burchett - Representative, TN
Doug Burgum - SoI
Mike Lee - Senator, UT
Rick Scott, Senator, FL
Markwayne Mullin, Senator, OK

re: Thoughts on nepotism? Is it all bad?

I'm OK with it in the private sector. If I own a private business, it's my decision who to hire, promote, and ultimately leave in charge.
Publicly traded companies typically have boards to make those decisions and while nepotism can occur, there are checks and balances.
Nepotism should never happen in the political/elected official realm. The electorate is on average too dumb and will vote for and perpetuate dynasties, given the option. (e.g., Kennedys, Bushes, Cheneys, Gores, Cuomos, etc.)

Maybe if she had a brain she could associate the illegals getting free health care as a major factor with her insurance costs skyrocketing
bullshite - my health insurance premiums through my employer immediately skyrocketed the first year after barry-care was implemented - sure, illegals have contributed to the high premiums but that is not the primary driver for the ridiculous premiums.
I live in Brevard County - there are a few crocs in the area - not sure if this is the same one but authorities relocated one of them to south FL a couple of years ago and the damned thing showed back up after a few months.

Here's what works for me and it's relatively easy:
1 - walk for at least 30 minutes daily and after a couple of weeks increase to 60 minutes every day - nice normal pace, walk with a purpose - not speed walking and not leisurely - 3-4 mph - get some good comfortable, cushioned, walking shoes - Brooks, HOKA, Saucony, etc. Do this 6-7 days every week.
2 - start taking 5g of creatine every day and after 2 weeks, increase to 10g - 2 doses of 5g - the sleep benefits of creatine are well documented and the increase to 10g will give you deep REM sleep.
Good luck.

re: Did you go to your high school reunions?

Interesting topic.
I went to my 20th - lived 700 miles away - saw some folks I had not seen in 20 years - had a good time.
I went to my 30th - had relocated back to the area - no travel - reasonably decent evening - really low key.
for my 40th, I had again relocated ~800 miles away - traveled back to the area but rented a house and had my sons and their SOs and invited a few good old friends over and we had such a good time, we didn't attend the formal reunion.
Consciously decided not to attend the 50th.
If I'm still able to attend 60th, I will probably attend just to see who else made it and how they're doing.
