I'd have never wished ill will upon Graham. I criticized him and called him a closeted homo many times, and with good reason, but there were certainly times when he was an absolute warrior.
Not consistently though. Not at all.
I pray that he was right with the Lord, and my condolences are with his friends and family. Like you, though, I also hope a more principled and nationalist conservative takes his place. If it ends up being someone like Nikki Haley, it's a step backwards.

Mitch’s death being kept secret for a long time for procedural reasons as part of a power play and Graham’s death being used as cassus belli for a massive war would be exactly what those two would have wanted most
