And Trump can’t win without Desantis supporters.

Not just that, he needs the majority of the 5.5 million people who voted for at least 1 Republican on the ballot in 2016 and 2020 but didn’t vote for Trump. Particularly suburban women and Independents who historically vote Republican.

Unfortunately for him, these people hate him and will never vote for him. The Kemp voters in suburban ATL, Kimberley Yee voters in suburban Phoenix, Youngkin voters in NOVA, and Brian Fitzpatrick voters in Bucks and Montgomery County PA will not vote for him.

Since he can’t get these voters, he’ll need a Green Party candidate to take an unprecedented number of votes away from the Dem in the Midwest swing states. Considering that only happened in 2016 because Hillary was the most hated Dem of all time, I don’t see that happening in 2024.

I hope DeSantis plays this like he's done all along. Ignore Trump and all his stupidity. Focus on his record as governor. If people are too stupid to see that he's our best option at this point, that's their problem.

If RDS beats Trump in the primary, why would that base not support RDS?

Because the MAGA bitter enders are to Donald Trump what the Republican Guard was to Saddam Hussein.

That's why.

All the Onion Loaf has to do is tell them to stay home and they will dutifully follow his orders. And we all know he will tell them to stay home.

That's just how he rolls.

The good judgement here is to wait and see what happens. Why react to something based on unhinged posts on Truth Social.

DeSantis is doing what he needs to be doing. Stay out of the fray and let it Olay out a little more.

This arrest is a nothingburger and not a pivotal point in the 24 election.

Again, this is cult reasoning and, as I've said in this thread, would be a political Jonestown.

This implies they would rather fight people close to their required political adherence than Lefitsts

I don't think so.

I think Republican politicians earned a lot of that skepticism, caution, and in some cases outright animosity.

The W administration, for example, destroyed my trust in the Republican Party. I haven't since voted for a politician just because he or she is a Republican and I never will again.

And again, it's not cult as you imply. I'm sure it is for some but for others it is and has always been about the message and the gumption.

True, LT. Trump will challenge him on this, as he should. Same with the election fraud and Jan. 6.

It will be your problem too because DeSantis will lose.

You might as well go ahead and start rooting for Kemp in 2028.

He might. Republicans are stupid enough to make that happen. But, that won't be my problem. I don't live my life in a way that is significantly impacted by who is in the White House.

Ron won't get into "Trump bashing" because he's savvy enough to not play in the shite with pigs. He'll get dirty and the pigs like it.

With every tweet (or whatever Trump calls it on that dumb media site of his) more and more of his supporters peel off.

I'm starting to think you really don't like Trump or those who voted for him.

This is a nice pre-melt. Lol if you don't think DeSantis will eventually say something about this.
