Sure, but they also project themselves as the non-emotional, RATIONAL population. I want them to discuss this emotionality bleeding out of them like it's that time of the month.

Make no mistake they will blame people like you and me because they'd rather fight us than actual Leftists.

I will be critical of RDS if he doesn't come out against this prosecution.

Otherwise he's showing as much ego and emotional thinking as Trump, which is a major weakness.

Before I've compared Trump to Sonny...

and wondered if DeSantis could be Michael.

And so far, he’s turned someone who really liked him (me) into someone who will vote for anyone but him. Call it vindictive, I don’t care. But I’m sure at least 10% of Trump voters feel the same way. And he can’t win without them.

And Trump can’t win without Desantis supporters.

As I’ve said to you before, no one gives a shite what some guy in Louisiana thinks. Louisiana will vote GOP in a landslide for whoever the nominee is no matter how many hissy fits you pitch on the internet about Desantis because Trump told you to.

Your threats couldn’t be any more hollow.

Ron has no shot regardless

This is true.

And it's because President Nero will burn it all to the ground. When he loses the Republican nomination or it becomes clear to him that he won't get it. He'll take his MAGA bitter enders and run as an Independent.

If he can't have it, then the best Republican candidate since Ronald Regan won't have it either.

Within ten years, the MAGA bitter enders will have to soul search and reconcile with the idea that Donald Trump was the worst thing that ever happened to the conservative movement.

After Donald Trump is finished with the Presidential election, we'll likely not see a Conservative President in the White House again.

Progressivism is that close to gaining full political, social and cultural control in this country.

The sad thing is we wouldn’t be dealing with that possibility if the Trump had just kept his promise. He said he’d go away and we’d never see him or hear from him ever again.

I’m not convinced this whole arrest story is even real. My suspicion is Trump fed it to the news for attention and to rally support from just like OP and many others here.

Then welcome our Democrat overlords

If our "overlords" were Democrats, we could somehow survive it but there really are no Democrats in Washington anymore. They're all Progressive Socialists and they have control or near control over all of our political and cultural institutions.

When it's all said and done. Donald Trump's petulance will seal it for them.

Why should DeSantis defend Trump who has spent the last couple of months insulting him, his wife, and even calling him a groomer just because of Trump paying off some porn whore he fricked.

You are delusional.

Because 1) this is a political prosecution and that is a very important issue for a lot of people and 2) DeSantis can not and will not win without winning Trump voters and 3) those two facts are much more important than mean things Trump said.

If RDS beats Trump in the primary, why would that base not support RDS?

Because that base will not rubber stamp whoever wins the GOP nomination.

A lot of that base doesn't like the Republican Party.

They (or at least many of them) will not vote for someone just because he or she is a Republican. That person has to take additional steps in addition to just being the party nominee.

Again, this is cult reasoning and, as I've said in this thread, would be a political Jonestown.

This implies they would rather fight people close to their required political adherence than Lefitsts

The worship of Trump is starting to get weird.

Like now people need to have no differing opinion on anything related to Trump. It’s kiss the ring or else lmao

Ron won't get into "Trump bashing" because he's savvy enough to not play in the shite with pigs. He'll get dirty and the pigs like it.

With every tweet (or whatever Trump calls it on that dumb media site of his) more and more of his supporters peel off. We see it every day. The chorus gets louder and louder.

Trump expects loyalty from everyone but gives it to no one. After how badly he threw Pence under the bus during the whole Jan 6 protests, why would anyone put their credibility on the line to defend him? Pence was extremely loyal to Trump all the way through, even when all of the establishment abandoned him after the Access Hollywood tape, Pence stood by him. But just because Pence said that he couldn't change the results of the election (which was TRUE), he tossed him away like a used sock.

Trump cannot truly expect any serious person to (figuratively) fight for him and certainly not Desantis, after how he's treated him.
