I believed that in the grand scheme of things it didn't matter who won in 2020. Why? Because that election and it's aftermath completely gutted trust in our electoral system. It doesn't matter which "side" you fell on or what you believe may have happened, the damage was done. As far as the general public is concerned we will never again have another legitimate election.
We are at the point now where the Republicans say that if the Democrats win the elections were rigged and the Democrats say that if the Republicans win the elections were rigged. There is no trust, which allows fear to reign.

I like reading your posts and I think you're pretty perceptive and reasonable. I am pushing back on this post, though. I think people who spend a lot of time on social media might agree with your post, but I doubt that most people would agree with it.
