I would love to see the DA and judge in this nonsense be disbarred and ruined for life.
In a fair and just world that is exactly what would/should happen. I guess we will have to wait and see if justice is served.

Two things of rather critical importance are true at this stage, IMO:
1) no amount of votes of consequential significance will be changed in this matter, whether it’s a guilty verdict or not guilty. As with everything else surrounding Trump, pretty much everyone had previously gained all the information they needed, and then some, to have solidified their position on Trump - that was likely the case in most peoples’ minds before he was even charged in this matter;
2) even in the event he’s found guilty, whether it be as charged or of any lesser and included offense, he will not see a day of jail time. A suspended sentence is far, far more likely. And I don’t say that without having the assistance of a good deal of personal experience in these matters. And yes I’m taking fully into account the “unique” circumstances of this particular situation. The left’s goal and game plan was never in the final verdict aspect, but instead the character assassination along the way that they anticipated would be too extensive for Trump to come back from - miscalculation of the century. Bottom line being that whether there’s a conviction or not, his Presidential campaign will move onward and upward.
Conclusion: the net effect/result of this whole thing has been and continues to be a reversal of fortune in that the benefit and “prize” of the matter has accrued to Trump, and has actually increased his chances of becoming President again……
**Just one fella’s opinion, it’s not being presented as superior to anyone else’s.

He has been the lone voice of liberal reason. You don't have to be a "Trumper" to object to a political show trial.
I guess I have been a little surprised at how cavalier the left has been with this. None on the left seem to have any problem with the blatant abuse of the legal system to attack a political opponent.
Is this the new normal in US politics? In any municipality the DA from one party can bring charges against opposition party opponents? Use government funded lawyers to bleed your opponent of resources: time, financial, and other? Bring the case before a judge that will set his foot on the balance of justice?
There is no small bit of irony in putting a candidate that was impeached for conspiring with the Russians through a Stalinesque show trial.

I have been watching just enough morning news alphabet shows to see that the headlines are Trump's trial. They used to give out details, now it is just a headline with basic points. Just enough to say neener neener neener he is on trial. OMB.
Not once in 2 weeks have they reported or retracted the famous Trump MAL classified TS folders as a set up with empty folders Not once have they retracted Trump had nuclear codes.
Not once did they report the Judge clears the courtroom because the defense raised their eyebrows.
On the point of one of us getting railroaded by the FBI DOJ. Our money would never be enough until our homes are lost-whatever value that home is. Also: any good lawyers would be blacklisted to rep us. So it is the gulag.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say full acquittal. At the end of the day the state presented multiple seedy witnesses who admitted they had an ax to grind with Trump as well as admitted to financially benefiting from their disdain for Trump. Even beyond that witnesses have repeatedly been caught lying on the stand about events. There may very well be several Trump haters on the jury but they never got to see the bombshell damning evidence they’ve wet themselves over for years.
And when it’s over I hope we see Trump on the courthouse steps telling the judge, the DA and radical Dems everywhere to suck his cock.

But when the defense’s only substantive witness, the experienced attorney Robert Costello, raised his eyebrows at one of New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan’s rulings, the court went berserk.
Losing his cool and showing his thin skin, the judge cleared the courtroom of everyone including the media.
For some reason, I was allowed to stay, and I observed one of the most remarkable wrong-headed biases I have ever seen. The judge actually threatened to strike all of Costello’s testimony if he raised his eyebrows again.
I don't know why Dershowitz thinks he can simply lie about things and not get called out. Costello didn't simply "raise his eyebrows".
quote:
Costello aggravated Merchan repeatedly in part by continuing to speak after objections were sustained — a signal to witnesses to stop talking. At one point, Costello remarked “jeez” when he was cut off by an objection. He also called the whole exercise “ridiculous.”
But the most tense moments happened with Costello on the witness stand. Merchan first sent the jury out of the courtroom to discuss proper decorum. He chided Costello for remarking “jeez” when he was cut off by a sustained objection and, at another point, “strike it.” Merchan told him: “I’m the only one that can strike testimony in the courtroom. Do you understand that?”
“And then if you don’t like my ruling, you don’t give me side eye and you don’t roll your eyes.”
Merchan was about to bring the jury back in when he asked Costello, “Are you staring me down right now?” and then kicked out the press to further admonish him.
“I’m putting you on notice that your conduct is contemptuous,” Merchan said, according to the transcript of the conversation that occurred when the press was out of the room. ”If you try to stare me down one more time, I will remove you from the stand.”
If anyone else behaved that way as a witness in federal court they would have been held in contempt, period.
Dershowitz is a lying sack of shite.

This isn’t a federal court you half-wit. And the judge’s actions deserved the astonished responses of the former AUSA expert witness.
By the way, where did you get that transcript/description of what happened in court?

Thanks for the correction. So many indictments I got them mixed for a second. But the statement still stands. You can't go in a court room and do this shite. You would be held in contempt, period.
Quoted section was from link below, but has been widely reported on by most media.

Why was he allowed to stay? Seems odd.
The contributions to Biden and Dem campaigns was just enough to get caught but not enough to get in trouble.
They leak and allow leaks of enough information to make sure everyone knows that it's a corrupt circus worthy of severe discipline.
Just like all the other cases all the way up to the J6 "trial" and Russia collusion.
They want you to know that they'll screw you with a cactus and no body is going to stop them.

Got it. So we are trusting the MSM to accurately report on something regarding Trump. Funny. It’s almost like Dershowitz discussed that issue.

Cry more tears. I have no sympathy for people who committed crimes to have to face the consequences.

Yea yea yea. Mindlessly believe Epstein's best friend because the main stream media just can't be trusted, lol.
