The Iranians will NOT negotiate in ANY way that concedes power and control. They only know force and leverage. We have to use this against them. Blockade and bomb. That’s IT. That is the only solution.

Trump is done with Iran. He will not bomb. He is so wrapped up in his own negotiating prowess to admit that he can’t do it. So a deal is forthcoming.

No amount of bombs alone will change regimes in Iran. Absent geopolitical developments behind the scenes that we have no way of knowing about as civilians, Iran’s current regime will never stop their current policies of funding terror proxies and attacking Israel and all those who do business with them. The U.S. needs to either back down and accept this reality or make the case for a ground war.
I don’t believe the American public will support a ground war no matter what kind of case the Trump Administration pleads, not after watching 20 years of boondoggles in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Trump Administration may need to just admit that they bit off more than they had the political will to chew and take the L. The other option is a hugely unpopular ground war that would likely tarnish MAGA’s legacy permanently. Even if the war were successful in achieving all of its strategic goals, it would be tantamount to such a betrayal to the wants and wishes of regular citizens that no vestiges of Trump’s regime would survive the voter backlash against it.

You can't defeat an army or government of religious fanatics without total obliteration. The IRGC will fight until the last man is standing. We are not willing to do what it takes to accomplish this nor should we. This whole thing was poorly planned out from the beginning. This was not 8D intergalactic chess this was 2D stupidity on Trump's part. Downvote away sycophants.

If bombing would make a difference - short of nukes - it would have already been done. Trump can't afford this. If the nuclear threat from Iran is truly "imminent" then he's either going to have to commit ground forces or STFU and get out. This blockade is just an economically disastrous stall tactic and the clock is ticking. Iran will weather it. We won't.

The clear IRGC and related targets have been bombed to oblivion, but the remnants have found new holes to hide in often in schools, hospitals, tunnels and such. Have to have very good intelligence to have much of a real effect and maybe ground controllers from whatever source possible.
The more degraded the IRGC is the more tempting the regular army's or the armed uprising's chances are.

Won’t work. It’s boots on the ground (terrible option) or something like the JCPOA (politically awful but probably as good as it gets).
The reality is their threshold for pain is 1000x bigger than ours. They’ll let their people go w no power/water/food etc. as long as necessary. Meanwhile, if Summer 2026 is rising inflation and $5-$6 gas Trump is gonna get absolutely smoked in November.
All Iran has to do is stall as long as possible and they’ll get whatever deal they want (assuming we don’t invade).
