Like I said every bet he made in this has gone in the reverse of expectations. He probably expected that this would be cleaner than it has been. It's a mess by any objective standard.

All we did 8 months ago was freeze the program. The ability to resume as well as fund and export terror still existed. As did their supply to our two geopolitical adversaries.

That’s all gone and the world is far better for it.
