Does the athlete get to decide if the team goes to the White House? I'm sure LSU CRT President will make that decision. I'm happy for LSU winning the championship. I always pull for SEC, but this Reese chick needs to shut up.

Agreed. You don't have to like the president or the first lady to show respect for the office. Turn the tables. What if she said this to Melania? How many of y'all wouldn't be cool with it then?

Jill Biden supports an agenda and ideologies that support what Reese did. In fact they even encourage it and cultivated it.

Enjoy the fruits of your labor Jill.

Also, Reese stated that the same invite would not be extended to LSU if Iowa had won. She’s reacting to an assumption! It’s literally a bogeyman that doesn’t exist but only in her mind.

Eh, it's a pretty solid bet that if LSU had lost, they would not have been invited.

Caitlyn Clark was a media darling for College WBB and the story didn't end for her and the Iowa team like they wanted it to.

Of all the things to question Reese over, this isn't the one.

IMO Reese has a strong racial bias and the spotlight has gone to her head. She talks out of her arse, trying to make this all about her and kill the moment for her team mates.

Disagree, she's spent a ton of time talking about her team and how she didn't care about individual awards.

People like you are the reason she is saying what she's saying.

If you think it was political as stated above Angel is 100% correct they wouldn't have invited LSU

It’s clearly political imo. She didn’t want to piss off a critical electoral state... Also, Reese stated that the same invite would not be extended to LSU if Iowa had won. She’s reacting to an assumption! It’s literally a bogeyman that doesn’t exist but only in her mind.

Is Louisiana a critical electoral state? No?

Then by your own logic Reese is correct, LSU wouldn't have gotten an invite had they lost.

It's not racist, but frick the Bidens. If that was Trump they'd be fanning the racial flames. So sure, it's racist AF.

You know Reese would still vote for Biden if he ran against Trump in 24 though...

It wasn’t racial as Reese implies.
Are you sure? Because any contention of a "sportsmanship" differential, on its face, is ridiculous.

There may have been some perception that the Iowa invitation was for the "white" champions while LSU was the "black" champions. I don't think that is what was meant, as I think it was aimed at Iowa regarding their primary, but I have heard a few comments about the white kids that indicate some racial element. Again, I don't think it was intended that way, but some people look for racial reasons in everything. So, if her viewpoint was that it was about inviting the white kids (not just Iowa), I can sort of understand her Obama statement. Still wrong, but maybe a sentiment from some people.

Reese is an idiot but she is half right…

The Biden’s are pandering to Iowa but it is for political reasons rather than racial ones. It is still incredibly tone deaf by them because I can’t think of another runner up who has gotten invited to the White House for such a meeting.

It is the equivalent of that gay football player from Missouri having the NFL commissioner call teams to try and find him a landing spot when the Rams cut him.

I don’t like Jill Biden but by Statestreet
Did the Biden's ask the runner ups (uConn) last year to the White House?

The "Bidens" didn't make the comment. Jill did. Did she attend last year's men's game?

I know the Bidens are dipshits but when we give in to anti-White bullshite because it's being aimed at a political enemy we only grant it more power.

That’s a tough choice.
Defend a political opponent against being called racist by someone whose politics you also don’t like, but plays sports for LSU?

The game wasn’t that close and Jill wouldn’t think to invite LSU had they lost.

Reese is a queen and y’all are hating on our black queen.

She’s a winner. You’re not. Sit down.

Or something like that circa three days ago.
