They know they don't "have to" defend what's going on and they could not care less than they do about what's going on at the southern border.

Biden voters have no independent thought. Whatever their media and politicians say, is what they think.
It was apparent when some families who worked in the oil industry blindly voted for Biden and became unemployed after Biden took office.

I’m involved with a group trying to get off the ground a “charity” that’ll pick illegals up at the border (or where the feds drop them off) and haul them to Lilly white and consistently liberal locations so those folks can experience the politics they espouse. It would be interesting to see how the congressional delegations of Vermont and New Hampshire (for example) feel about open borders if their hometown school systems see 40% growth from non-English speakers overnight. I tried to do this 20 years ago and didn’t get far, but hopefully it’ll find some traction this time.

You left out the part where I stated if the federal government refuses to secure the borders the states should take on that responsibility to protect their citizens….but that’s ok because you didn’t particularly like that answer.
The other approach is trying to change the political views of 81 million Biden voters (allegedly). Other than that I guess I’ll just have to wrestle with the fact the Marxists have achieved the “fundamental transformation of America” and it’s what the majority of the citizenry wants.
