As far as the rest of your post, it’s contradictory to much of what you read and see here, particularly about 2A. It gets posted ad nauseam that 2A is not here just for hunting or collecting, but to defend against invaders and a tyrannical government.

Fast forward to now, and we have (what much of the right calls) an invasion taking place while a corrupt government is installed via a “stolen” election. The conditions are ripe for these “country boy can survive” types to defend their country, yet where are they?

Busy redrawing the next line in the sand, I suppose.

Yes, it’s the federal government’s responsibility to secure the nations borders. If the federal government and the current administration are turning a blind eye to potentially millions of illegal immigrants entering the country while a pandemic is raging and they federal government won’t protect the American people then that responsibility should roll down to the states. If the citizenry has to take on the burden of securing the nation’s borders it probably means we’re in a situation of mass civil unrest…..the borders will not be a priority at that point.

If there is an invasion, as you said above, then “federal government is incapable or unwilling to enforce immigration laws and security at the border” which is you contradicting yourself.

If it isn’t an invasion, then you’re crying over nothing.

It cannot be both. The federal government is either in control of the border or there’s an active invasion.
