Got to vote in Democrats to get rid of the established Republicans. Texas needs new Republican leaders. Abbott, Patrick, Paxton, and Cruz. Get them all out.

I just knew Retardzana, the trans lover, was going to drop a retard bomb in this thread.
Nice.
Nice.

I am old enough to remember when we were told that Kamala was ahead in Iowa. Before considering any poll, dig down on the methodology and the numbers of people actually polled. Some of the sample sizes are incredibly small. Easily manipulated.

Most voters don’t vote in primaries so it’s just hardliners

Cruz was crushing Beto in polling averages, though. He led damn near all of them and then he actually underperformed on Election Day.
Yeah people saying Beto was winning in the polls, especially in August, are full of shite

Because Paxton is a true scumbag and ALOT of people, including Republicans, don't like him. He kind of earned it.
Maybe you forgot how the GOP blew the Alabama race because of the corruption that occurred on the GOP side. Took the Republican votes for granted and lost.
Paxton is also a HORRIBLE fund-raiser. He is getting his arse kicked on fund-raising.
Cornyn probably walks back in with no problem. Paxton is going to be a real dog fight and outside money is going to have to bail him out.
You were warned about this.

So they’ll go back the the progressive bullshite they were sold before?
Maybe some will. Maybe some won’t, but “the other side has bullshite too” isn’t much of a defense for the bullshite you bought. Folks are allowed to get tired of one bad sales pitch without signing up for another.

Yea, what they want is more fig gots that have an adolescent, at best, view on gender and are still using their Mommy’s debit card.

Eh. I don’t buy it.
Suppression polls are designed to elicit this exact type of pro-establishment pearl clutching. Texas is not electing a guy that makes Mayor Pete look like Lawrence Taylor.

You say this like you wouldn’t blindly vote for talarico. Nobody cares what you think
Posted on 8/9/26 at 10:12 am to DawgCountry
“Nobody cares what you think,” he says, while taking the time to reply to what I think.
As for blindly voting for anybody, that’s projection. I don’t need a politician to be my identity. You might try it sometime bubba.

How many more times are you going to have to say this before it becomes true? We might disagree with tDonald on this issue or that issue but I know a hell of a lot of Trump voters and npt one of them regrets their vote.

Because they’re polling Austin and Houston. Two of the most liberal, Muslim loving cities in the US.

Paxton is unlikeable. Talarico’s Christian act might work on enough rural church going women. Just like JBE’s anti abortion stance when he beat Vitter in Louisiana.

You're comparing apples to eggs. The political landscape in 2026 is vastly different from 2018, or 2022, or 2024. Trump's war, of course, but ordinary Texans from all walks of life are suffering from Trump economic policies-- the war tax and inflation, the tariffs, the hopelessness. Most RGV residents who pulled the lever for Trump in '24 regret their decision, and will gladly flock to the polls to vote for change this cycle.

“I know a hell of a lot of Trump voters” ain’t quite the national measuring stick you seem to think it is. The bubbas you know may still be happy with what they bought, but that doesn’t tell you much about the millions of people that you don’t know. A man can stand in his own pasture and swear the whole country looks just like it.

Polls are designed to keep you interested. Fox polls are worthless. They are designed to keep you watching their channel. They never resemble reality on the ground. Talarico is a frickin' idiot. He's going to lose by at least 10 points.
