Why no, bubba. I support the idea that voters can get tired of being sold grievance, chaos, and loyalty tests dressed up as governance. They also get tired of trump bloviating tweets and all of his fake ai posts, but that’s another slice of the pie. A maga candidate sweating a Texas race he ought to own might be worth noticing. “Orange man bad” is what ODS “Black man bad” folks say when they’ve run out of anything substantive to defend.

Talarico is leading in the polls by 3, but I expect him to win by about 20.
Paxton is absolutely the worst candidate put up for a statewide election in Texas in my lifetime; worse than Clayton Williams when he ran for governor in 1990. How can any sane voter abide a former Texas AG letting loose a convicted child r*pist? And the endorsement of a wildly unpopular Trump will prove to be the sword thrust into an already mortally wounded Paxton candidacy, imo.

National polls literally NEVER have a republican beating a Dem in a somewhat close race. It’s all a sham, and it’s been especially bad in Texas since Dems have been wishcasting Texas turning blue for 20 years.
