The senate is still having pro forma sessions to bock Trump from making recess appointments.

They're ecstatic, they just successfully ran the Paul Ryan run out the clock defense on Trump despite Miss Lyndsey and possibly Mitch dying and a number of their key members being on their way out while keeping the war in Ukraine funded and even talking Trump into Iran.
They passed absolutely nothing for the base and completely derailed the platform that won the populist right a landslide victory in 2024 while splintering the coalition in the process.
They also managed to demoralize the populist right by reminding everyone that even if you vote for nationalism you won't get it because they'll fight it at every turn.
Huge wins for the establishment/globalists.

Confirmed my belief congress only gets elected to enrich themselves with generational money. Why else spend millions to get elected to a low paying job. They're all in it but look after the other club members

Lyin' Paul Ryan and some others actually planned to lose the 2018 midterms so that the Dems could go after their common enemy, President Trump. A ton of GOPe types, including Ryan, did not run for re-election that year to help make it possible.
