A while back, I had an online dialogue with a Canadian Math Prof who was in the "Math is Racist" camp.
After conceding 2+2=4 is not racist, he insisted applied math (particularly statistics) was racist.
Eventually when confronted with "figures don't lie, but liars figure," he conceded neither applied math nor statistics are racist.
Instead he insisted mathematicians and statisticians are racist.
The discussion ended when I pointed out the fact he was really dealing in Behavioral Science (the presumably "racist" behavior of his colleagues) rather than Mathematical Science, and that he lacked any particular expertise in the arena hence his poorly formed and poorly supported thesis.
IAW the new 21st century 'Scientific Method', he blocked me.

I certainly dont want to ride in an airplane, live downstream from a dam or work in a nuclear power plant designed by engineers who think that finding the right answer isnt important.
