I believe Democrats when they say what they're gonna do when back in power.
I don’t believe Republicans when they say what they're gonna do when back in power. The only thing they seem to believe in is ‘muh judges’ and a forever state of military grift

I dont either but if I have to settle for Republicans doing nothing except slowing the Dem agenda I'll vote for that before I'll give up, stay home and grab my ankles.

A four vote majority in the House and a six vote majority in the Senate is not a mandate, esp when a large portion of GOP is RINO.

I totally understand, but this didn't happen overnight, and it can't be fixed overnight. We've let all these rats infest the ship over the last 30 years and bringing in a bunch of snakes is not the answer. The radical left loves the position you're in. They can say "See, those guys aren't fixing your problems, you must change now!". Their answer is a violent change. France tried this in the 1790s, Russia in the 1910's. Both ended up with a dictator in short order, and I don't mean a fake one like we have that just shoots his mouth off, I mean a real one who doesn't need to say anything because everyone with a different opinion has already been eliminated. These radical and violent shifts to the left have always ended the same way and have never turned out good for the people.
The train may not be moving as fast as you would like, but we're on the right track. Our economy is growing faster than anywhere in the world and anybody who wants a job can find one.
I know that trip to the beach costs more now than it did, but don't light the truck on fire because of it. If you do, there will be no more trips to the beach. We got rid of some of the rats in the primaries, and we'll keep getting rid of them until they're gone.
Hang in there.

Why though? This was always going to happen. We knew repubs were infested with snakes and turncoats. We knew this before Trump ever rode down the golden escalator. They tried to manage his accomplishments the first term, and they helped sell out several states in 2020 by turning a blind eye to cheating. They’ve moved on from managing to all out war with the administration.
They have no choice but to expose themselves and run to the Dems because there is nowhere else for them to turn.

but what is the plan when the totalitarian state starts burning down entire towns in response to guerrilla skirmishes and executing the family members of known fighters.
ETA: I guess my position is if we’re close to electing people who would burn down American towns even our retarded friends like Power, Shel, and DawgsonTop would snap out of it and help us vote in the men it would take to clean it all up.
Surely they don’t actually want a farther push to the left like they pretend.

Midterms will be a blue wave.

Donald Trump has proven during this term not to be an exception which is disheartening because he campaigned as the exception.
That was a plausible claim in 2016. If you still believed that in 2024 I don't know what to tell you.

Nothing changes until we see the perp walks and public executions of those that have scammed and stolen from us the People.
The fuel prices today are nothing but a psy-op to make out of touch Americans believe this current administration is not the one for the job. Anyone thinking voting for a Democrat based solely on reducing fuel prices Is batshit crazy. Take a look at a blue state's fuel prices and compare them to their neighboring red state and the result is staggering. Fuel prices today are the same as the covid scam they pulled in 2020 to destroy an economy at our expense.
Neither party will allow the other one to remedy the issues at hand due to proving their own party as being the culprit for the issues we are enduring. Military is the only way out of this shitshow.

I’m not sure how old you are, but I would get like this too when I was in my 20’s and 30’s over the wasted opportunities when they presented themselves. I would get discouraged also when the other side inevitably took back power. I’ve learned to put more distance between myself and politics, and face the reality that very little ever gets done. I now assume all politicians are worthless, and I’m rarely proven wrong. Focus on what you can control in life, and back away from so much politics. You’ll be much happier.

This is the most important election in our lifetimes. Per Hannity. Breaking News.

Man, I dont think you can blame the media. I voted for Trump 3 tiimes. I can also see what's happening in the world. I still admit he is much better than Kamala ever would have been.

I'm disheartened...not insane....

I would never vote for the a candidate from the current democratic party..

We gave Republicans the House, the Senate, and the presidency, and what exactly have we gotten out of it? A war with Iran, $6 diesel, and a Congress that’s about to take a month-and-a-half recess.
At some point, just being “not the other guys” isn’t enough. If people keep voting a party in and that party never really delivers anything, eventually that catches up with them. That’s a recipe for disaster and nothing ever being accomplished.
all true and somehow this is still better than what would have happened under another Lefty. it's fricking depressing.

Don’t think about it too much. It doesn’t really affect you and it’s just something to get you all stirred up about.

The obvious mistake made by MAGA and certainly this board is the idea that anything is better than the Democrats.
The country’s politics are largely controlled by big money and vested interests, and that’s regardless of political party. The Citizens United case
certainly didn’t help things…
