And if you turn against it, then the people that CAUSE it to be such a clusterf#&% are victorious. Because that's the whole point. Then once they've won THAT battle, then they'll move onto life sentences. Then sentences over 20 years. Then they'll start demanding furloughs. Then they'll start....

I don't disagree. If doing away with the death penalty meant life in prison doesn't mean life in prison...then hold the line.

I just hate hearing of decades worth of hearings then finally 20+ years after the murder an execution takes plance.

The toll on the victims families has to be horrible as one or two times a year for a decade plus the trauma gets dug back up so dickhead on death row can have a hearing of some kind or the other.

In function though, the death penalty process is such a clusterflock I'm slowly turning against it. It takes decades and costs untold millions to get to a single execution.

Not sure why anyone thinks that the same organization that can't deliver a letter or balance a budget is capable of making life and death decisions?

Who would have thought a system created by lawyers benefits lawyers?

I would prefer public hangings.
For someone like that animal, public drawing and quartering would be appropriate.

I don't live far from the supermax he's rotting away in. If we kill him, I'm happy. If he lives out the rest of his shitty life in misery, I'm happy.

Not really. That money has been budgeted for in advance. The judges and attorneys get paid regardless.

Does that mean that tax payers aren't paying for it?

The guy worked hard to help his brother kill innocent people.

How could he NOT deserve the death penalty?

Yes, they are paying that sum either way. You don't believe that if a death sentence isn't imposed that they cut those millions from the systems' budgets do you?

How about lobby for a quick execution? That would be better than letting a POS love forever on taxpayers dime

Maybe his defense should be that it was really just a peaceful protest...

I think they should run him on a treadmill in a empty room next to a pressure cooker. Justice.

EVERY action taken by the leftists that involves the true patriots of America to 'compromise' with them "just this once" has been used to put a crack in the wall separating good from evil.

They then exploit that crack (using it as a springboard for further attacks with "precedence" as their main argument)

Look at all the distortion of "rights" that are still hurdling down this slippery slope:
- freedom of speech > being morphed into "demand for an audience"
- freedom of religion > morphed into antipathy for religion
- freedom of association > morphed into ' include these groups that hate your guts '
- pursuit of happiness > morphed into "make everyone feel happy"
- abortion > went from 'rare and safe" to "anyone anytime any reasons" and make $$
- voting rights > let self-appointed arbiters manufacture masses of unverified 'votes'
- etc etc etc

They had little trouble executing Timothy McVeigh but, a light skinned third world Muslim immigrant like this scumbag is taboo for the liberals to put down... And he even murdered Muslims so enact Sharia law and stone the fricker!

This was a false flag. The evidence for it is even more obvious than most. The intelligence operatives should be the ones facing the death penalty.
