one is a fishing pole and the other is a dangerous weapon, that seems like basic logic to me

Nutriaitch

The high school program could be used to get rid of "Nutriaitch" while feeding Biden's illegal immigrants. Allow the hunting program to control the nutria population and slow the erosion of our coastal environments. They could hunt the nutria rats off of the heavily insured boats.

Less nutria less nutriaitch!!

Besides, grilled nutria goes great with sweet taters according to stalekracker. By feeding Biden's illegal immigrants, the program can be funded with federal dollars.

Obviously many schools in the US have a clay target team without incident...

This map is just clay shooting teams at schools in the US. Obviously they practice and shoot at a range that is not associated with the school...

Seems like in many ways white people are being hunted, so I suppose the schools have the issue covered in that way.

Probably not a hard sell since the worst thing that is going to happen with a bunch of teenage idiots while fishing is getting a hook caught in flesh or falling out of the boat, while the worst thing that can happen with a bunch of teenage idiots while hunting with bows or guns is a dead teenage idiot.

Do ya'll not remember how idiotic you were when you were 15 years old? I'm surprised we survived. And it's one thing to go hunting with your dad or by yourself at that age. It's a whole different ballgame to get a bunch of idiot teenage buddies together and give them firearms.

"How much you wanna bet I can..." could easily be famous last words among teenage idiots with guns.

because fishing as a competitive sport is dumb. Hunting as a competitive sport is more dumber.

Because there is a zero firemarm policy on school campuses, but no policy for fishing poles on the campus. Yes, I know you aren't hunting on campus, but you cannot have the kids do an activity representing your school involving firearms.

Plus, what redneck idiot wants to compete in hunting?

oh i get it, but while some kids handle weapons safely and securely, at the same time some arent smart enough to be allowed to hold a butter knife

many schools just dont want that risk, and to be honest, im not sure who would be trustable to decide if its safe for other kids. i would want a purple hair freak making those choices

I'm assuming your school does not have one of these teams S3DA? If that's correct, look into getting it started. Most schools are private or charter, but there are some public school teams. Most teams these days have no school affiliation though. I coach a team in this organization and it's a ton of fun. Even if he can't do it with the school, you can find a local team to join.

I don't see how it would be feasible to have a "hunting" team, but there are programs around archery and other shooting sports.

Good grief... I hope you didn't have kids and if you did, I imagine they are gaping vaginas...

The teams are coached, the kids are taught firearm safety and I would bet you there are more injuries in football than there are in the shooting sports...

In the 1950's, some of NYC's top high schools had rifle teams. Now they don't know which bathroom to use.

Why does he feel he has to be on a team to hunt? If you don't see the differences between having fishing and hunting teams I can't help you.

I distinctly remember doing archery during PE in a public school. Would have been around 1988.

Got nothing against either activity, but a hunting or a fishing team????? That's just dumb. Just like the Bass Fishing Tour or whatever it is called. Neither needs to be competitive.

A hunting competition league
A fishing competition league

Both sound equally reaching
