They probably have to. Who can carry that much paper around to buy a loaf of bread?

CBDCs are very different from the other digital currencies. Imagine having your wealth in the Federal Reserve’s CBDC. The federal gov’t would instantly have information on everything you did. Everything.

Yeah, thought they just showed up for their bread, water, zoo meat and government cheese everyday. Didn't know they had actual currency.

Yep, another way to track everything about a citizen. They could see what you spend money on, even tell you or prevent you from spending money on specific products. This tech will allow them to crush citizens who don't bend the knee, crush vendors/merchants who don't comply with Marxist rule. All will have to comply because govt would control all currency. We'd have to go to black market bartering. The gov't could freeze your money/assets with the click of a button.

Venezuela partnered up with Chyna on this. Just like they did with ID cards a few yrs ago.
This is a small but major step towards Chyna's plan. Especially in the western hemisphere. So not really that funny.

while not really funny, they got there by printing endless amounts of paper.
Wanna know who else has done that recently?
Venezuela is the dress rehearsal, Haiti or somewhere in Africa will be next.

Imagine being blocked from your wealth by a government... digital currency is the way.

Venezuelan currency is literally worth zero in the world economy.

Pretty sure that's the goal.

yep unfortunatly blockchain will be used to track everything about everyone within the next 2 decades. anything and everything will be on blockchain and will be on the ledger forever.
only way around it will be digital currency outside of the system like bitcoin and using tumblers on a tails system. 99% of people dont know how to get bitcoin using a basic exchange much less how to hide transactions. Defi will help but still gonna involve Tails and tumblers and below are the reasons those are problematic.
plus the damn feds immediately declared tumblers illegal.....because you know how fricking dare you not allow us to see everything you are doing
also if NSA finds out you are using Tails you immediately go on thier list as a suspect, because literally they can track you and your activity so you are assumed to be a criminal.
because why would any normal person want to hide anything from the goveernment, the government is rightous and there to serve
frick the feds.

“After trading crypto using Ms. Jackie Bigmoney as an advisor, I underwent a series of trading losses I'd best not talk about before I was introduced to trading analyst Mr Ray Ray BigPockets...
My contact with him has been the Hallmark of this year for me, under his careful guide and his signal service I've been able to recover my losses and even grow my trading portfolio massively from 1.2 btc to 5.6 btc in just 5 weeks
Call his WHATs AP # 1-800-Big-LIES

Does any form of Venezuelan currency have value anymore?
Posted on 8/5/21 at 9:24 am to FlexDawg
Lol at anything Venezuela does. Their citizens can't afford basic necessities but they'll launch a modern financial tech system to use? Hilarious.

China CBDC
Kyle Bass tends to be a little dramatic, but the thought of CBDCs should scare the frick out of EVERY independent thinker. It's the last step in central gov't creating a new class of serfs.

In a recent interview, Bass argued that the Chinese digital yuan is a financial tool, which the government intends to employ to gain massive influence over its rival countries. He added that the project would grant a stronger economic position and more financial control to the Asian economic giant.
Bass, who is the founder and CIO of Hayman Capital Management, warned that the Chinese digital currency could cause significant financial damage to the US, if unbanned. He argued:
“I think that we should ban the [Chinese digital] currency and not allow any of it to be handled in the United States. I know that sounds hyperbolic, but if you just think all the way through this, you can’t have a little bit of cancer. You either have cancer, or you don’t have cancer.”
The Chinese government could require companies to adopt the central bank digital currency if they want to invest in the country. Moreover, nations part of China’s Belt and Road initiative (BRI, previously known as One Belt, One Road) could be seduced to employ the digital yuan.
