If they had only taken a knee on taking the knee there would be alot more normalcy in the world right now. Not saying they should not have subdued. Maybe they need tranquilizer darts for this type of sutuation.

His intentions are irrelevant at this point. Floyd was frick'd up like a football bat. He was resisting and crying like a frick'n child. He was full of fentanyl and 7 or 8 other illegal substances.

There is zero doubt he was over dosing. He was also in a crazed panic over the arrival of the police. Crying uncontrollably and falling. And it appears those things kicked in his panic driven claustrophobia. Further he requested to lie down and was fast going downhill when he requested to do so.

I first was sure that the officer's knee was the culprit. Now It looks like he was dying from what was almost assuredly a weak heart from all the previous abuse and overloading on drugs combined with the hysteria of the arrest. All of a sudden the guy wants to lie down. That tells me he was dying then BEFORE the knee. I really, really don't like the look of the cop who held the knee even after they lost his pulse. But now it looks like he was dying and would have died regardless. Even with all that I believe the one officer will be convicted and the cop with the Oriental look will be convicted of something.

But why stay on his neck so long.

The cop had a history of being a piece of shite, I think it was inevitable he would end up involved in something like this.

What everyone should take away from this (but many probably won't) is:

1. Drugs are bad, mmmkay? Don't do drugs.
2. If you get busted by the police, comply. Don't fight, don't create some horseshite about being claustrophobic, don't try to delay and talk them out of it. Just get in the fricking car, go quietly to the jail, bond out then fight the case in court.
3. The universe is karmic. Do enough dickish shite (especially using a badge to hide behind while doing it) and it's going to catch up to you.

Can someone point to the moments where the officers are explicitly racist towards Floyd?
