You are not paying for water. You are paying for the labor, power, treatment, and materials it takes to deliver it, and make it safe.

Your fake concern is noted. If you were really concerned, you would give from your own resources until it was an unbearable burden on your finances. Your concern is limited to others giving. Not you.

I wonder if you could create an analogy from that to healthcare.

I was about to reply with the same sentiment before I saw your post.

Health care is first dependent on the individual choice of a person to pursue a career in medicine. If there are no doctors to treat a patient then how can health care be enforced as a right? It can't.

Ah, tyranny of the majority.

frick rights, it's all mob rule baby!

I sincerely hope one day a mob decides your property is now forfeit for the "good of the many".

Maybe then you'll understand why individual rights are important.

Hey numbnuts, abort yourself! It's no one else's responsibility to feed, clothe, house, and care for you. Do it yourself or do yourself off.

So you're saying literally anything we want can be a "right"?

And you seriously think a successful, growing, and cohesive society would spring from that?

I am a capitalist 100% But believe that a public option to augment private healthcare insurance is important and health care should be accessible to 100% of US citizens.
